Ok i havent been able to play for a couple of days now because
of heavy gfx bugs. Look at the pictures:

I have tried everything, i've reinstalled neo 4 times, reinstalled
different drivers for my gfx card, also tried reinstalling windows,
used to have 2k, then tried Win XP, then Win ME, now have 2k
again and nothing has changed, still the same gfx bugs...

Also after a couple of seconds ingame my computer freezez up
(only gfx, can still hear sound) to the point that i have to reboot
because nothing seems to work to close neo.

System specs:
AMD Athlon 1800+
1024 DDR RAM / 266
GeForce3 TI 500
DirectX 9.0b

I have played neocron for a loooong time now and never seen
this stuff or had any other problems with it.

Anybody got a clue?

Do you get any graphical problems with any other games?

if you do, your graphics card my be fuxed, or somthing, just a guess, but could be.

if you dont get probs with other games i havnt a clue.

Well the only other games that i've tried are Counter Strike
(stfu it's an old install) and Quake1 (teh win) but quake is software
so that doesnt count, but however, CS works fine.. didnt really
play but i didnt have any gfx bugs and could run around for 5
mins so i guess its ok...

Dont have any other games since i'm only addicted to NC :p

uninstall you gfx cards drivers and nc then reinstall the newest gfx drivers for your card and nc. That should sort out the problem.

I have done this 3 times:
format -> install windows -> install gfx drivers -> install directx -> install neocron

but nothing helps, still the same

I have tried with the original drivers but it's the same, and about
directx i have no idea wich one came with NC since i downloaded
it and didnt buy the cd:s... I had a break between beta & retail
since i was in the army and by the time i wanted to play again there
was an option for downloading it so i used that. What DX version
came with NC ?

looks like ram or capacitors have gone on your gfx ... is it a gainward card ? .. that would confirm it almost certainly

just anything prior to 9 realy so 7-8.1 will be worth a look. I will just wip out my coppy for you.

I can't see it on the cd's so if the thing below does not work then try 7 or 8 or 8.1

good luck

Look familier? (http://forum.neocron.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86997)

Try turning T & L off......

Although, I'd say your Gfx card is borked and/or overheating....
Got a spare gfx card you can try?

Have you took off the case cover and blown out the gfx card fan with canned air?

OMG that looks exactly the same, especially no terrain stuff.
I'll try taking out the card and cleaning it a bit...

Yeah, go to your login screen and under Options/Video set your Transform and Lighting to Software mode.

Or go to your ini folder in the Neocron directory and find this line in the detail.ini:

UseHardwareTnL=0.00

Make sure it is set to 0.00
