Okay.. Ive never seen this Kinda poll around.. so im gonna post it..
How long have you played NC.. i guess the earlest date was september 2002?
So post away.. but make sure ya be truthful.;)
August 15th 2002... day 1 of Beta 4 I beleive, too long :(
I don't recall exactly. Forum registration date is 22/8/02 so around then I guess. Maybe a week or two before - I definitely wasn't on the forum before I started. Beta4 in any case.
Since the 1st beta 4 week...no idea when that was, but quite a long time ago ;-)

I think it was about mid beta4. Maybe a little earlier =p. All i remeber from beta is, Insidous wolf , Debo William, my 400 billion, They keep extending beta 4 :p
I started in Sept 2002 towards the end of beta4. I thought it was funny how as they kept extending the beta, the support got worse and worse. Until at the end they basicly ignored you. Every so often my account would be disabled and I would hafta wait 2-4 days before they turned it back on again. At the end they didn't even bother, so I missed the last few days of beta : )
The thing I miss most about beta is gm involvement. The gm's regularly appeared and would chat or switch skins for some fun. As soon as retail started they couldn't do any of that. New players often didn't even know the gm's names.

Since December of 2001, beta 3......& yeah, ive reached a point where too much neocron becomes boring *neocron uninstalled*
August 2002. The first week of Beta 4.

edit - it just turned 2004... and i've been playing longer than a month.
August of 02? Whatever first day of beta 4 was.

Possibly worst decision in my life... to buy Neocron. I'm sure that my grades would be one higher each if it weren't for this bloody game :p
Though it did really introduce me to the vast majority of the internet, so I have to give it something :)
first day of retail in UK, think it was already out in germany at the time cos iremember all the ops being german clan owned for a while on saturn, strangly cant remember the actual date i started.
was off from work the day it came out so spent the day wandering around, managed to wander into a good bunch of people that went on to make Vnox on saturn

A month or two before my forum account was formed, because I didn't make up my mind whether I was staying or not until the end of my free time (which was on offer), because I still hated MMOs at that time.
Now I just think they're too addictive :p

start of beta four, it was a happier time then when droms had nothing to fear, everyone was rich, weapons had 8 slots,chitten was an item everyone wanted, and if you where homeless all u had to do was pick up a plaza 3 appy from the ground. *chills out and thinks about the good old days*

August, 2001 - Beta 2.
15th September 2001 .. beta 3
As I recall, Beta 2 lasted until November or early December, then they shut everything down for a while and started up Beta 3 sometime between January-March 2002.
Since November 2002. Finally quit a few weeks ago. Had enough of KK's bull.

Anyone else notice that no one was proud enough of the time they have wasted on this game exept the Beta and Near Beta Crowd? (Mid Beta 4 myself)
beta 4, didnt play it much cuz its a waste of time leveling a char thats gonna get deleted...like it or not
have been playing daily since retail first came out in the US
August 5th, day 1 of beta4. Checked my account mail I got that day. It was a Monday :)

I didnt do the open beta because I didnt like downloading anything of considerable size off fileplanet, although I've heard since it was on a cover disk!
I'm sure I answered another thread the same as this recently.
Anyway, I got it soon after the start of retail (uk - dec 02). I was tempted to buy it from Virgin the day it came out, but after a bad AO addiction I was a bit reluctant to get it straight away, so I left it a couple of weeks and had to go on a right mission through various shops in Bristol looking for the game (there was a recall or something?) - managed to find it on the 5th gamestore I checked. And I was instantly hooked, especially by the way I had to take a big gulp from time to time by losing something that took me a day or more to get to pkers or anyone who enjoyed the Boom of and exploded vehicle. Shame some of those thrills are gone now.
I joined up with MiG in late January and enjoyed many fun op fights with a really good saturn clan.

I Started some time in March '03 man its gone so quick:eek:
1st day of beta 4 (if yall remember that the german community got in 2 weeks before the us comm did, thats when i got in). gotta love imesh back then :cool:

since about 1/3 into beta 2, i can't remember the month exactly. was fun and i'm still hooked.
in fact, i still have my b2 and b3 discs :D

Thanks. Decent game so far aside from the annoying fatals. really not used to such a small player base, either. not sure if that's going to work out to be a good or a bad thing.
