Here (http://www.neocron.com/index.php?name=NeoContent&op=modload&file=index&pageID=182) is the latest Neocronicle. I will upload it on the Servers and send out the Mail version as soon as I am home again, I am currently on my Notebook. :)

Yeah, I have to admit that it was a bit unfair for Monks to have to do a mini-run for their PA... completely unfair... (and I'm leveling up an APU atm :P)

Apparently, Black Dragon has also anonymously contacted a few scientists of ProtoPharm about the abstract problem of raising someones Intelligence drastically. They came up with a special medication, but apparently, it didn't do its job in an organism with an implanted Kamikaze Chip. What happened to the drug is unknown.Why do I have this feeling that's connected to the Regant Mutants? :p
Nice issue, as always. Also cool to see that the faction news is being used, it's very useful for me to know that stuff.
On the subject of the Outzone prison, it seems highly unlikely that the CityMercs are more ruthless than the Black Dragon. While there is enmity between the two, I believe it's mostly the Black Dragon which hate the Mercs, not the other way around.
I'd say it's either Anarchy Breed (Who used to live in the Prison before anyway), or an enitrely new unknown group.
Still, you should feel free to attack one another though, there is enmity between your two faction, and for all you know, it really might've been the CityMercs!

If the news there of an alliance between Templars and Cartel is as true as it seems then I think you'll have any problems. "'Ere Castoff, guard our OPs for us while we raid MB will ya?" :rolleyes:

whats the big deal anyway TT are neutral to BD, so i dont see the problem of TT joining us in fighting TG if the need arrives
but ive not logged on yet but i see no advantage to BD allieing since our main enemy atm is CM which TT wont fight, so what a great alliance that would be:rolleyes:

I doubt its anarchy breed.
They are basicaly allied to black dragon (if you read the black dragon story you will see) and i dont see them being to ruthless... there a bunch of disorganized runners (anarchy after all) that dont seem like they would have interest in an establishment.

Then how do you explain the news at the bottom of the cronicle? Castoff being nominated for a faction medal as an award for securing an alliance between Cartel and Templars?

well im commited to the faction, possibly becoming a faction assistant for Kirja on saturn, so im staying BD no matter what.

Someone took a bit of an artistic liberty methinks. We help them against TG/FA when they're outnumbered badly, and they do the same for us. That is it. All. Todo.
That said, a certain Tangent clan has just hired a certain Merc clan to kill Templars and instigate hostilities between the two factions (and this seems to be happening). So who knows what's going to happen with Saturn politics atm -- though if CM and TT go to all out war, I doubt they can afford to fight both Templars/After Dark and Cartel/Blood Titans at the same time.
On last Sunday's faction meeting council chairman Zane Shadowfall announced his resignation as chairman of the Fallen Angels and of Phoenix Ltd. much to the surprise of all attendees. Then he drew his weapon and killed the surprised Runner Psilok (Clan technocracy), before he stormed out of the Council Chambers. The database no longer lists Mr. Shadowfall as a member of the Fallen Angels and his current whereabouts are unknown. The Faction Council is led interim by Trillian (THSC) until new elections are held. Brammers assumed chairmanship at Phoenix Ltd.
It is with regret that Mr. Zane Shadowall has departed Fallen Angels and Phoenix Ltd. If any runner has information to the last know whereabouts of Mr Shadowfall please contact a Phoenix Rep - we are concerned for his well being and safety.
Also Phoenix Ltd will continue to trade as normal, specialising in vehicles and turrets as always. I shall be contacting contract holders as soon as my time allows.

Is it my imagination or these last two Neocronicles have changed from pro-CA bias into rabidly pro-CA? The old Neocronicles at least made vague efforts to appear impatial and publish news, but since this little break the Neocronicle have taken the publication seem to have transfered into nothing more than blatant CA propaganda.
Can we say the missing weeks were spent on nothing but a little internal loyalty purge? Shame if it was, because the old Neocronicle did a far better job of casting a positive light on the activities of the City Administration.

I think it'd be best if the Monk PAs were sold only in the Crahn Church in OZ 9 - make those monkie guys run some of that flab off :P
interesting stock news. I wouldn't bother putting up numbers though, with the frequency that the stocks move - I suggest just talking about general movements.

Lol good idea but then again only Pro Crahn people could get the PA without getting wasted first

You're point? Crahn aren't in it to make money, they are a religious cult. Not very likely to sell armour to their enemies are they? Now if there is a corrupt Crahn Sect member who buys the armour then sells it on for a higher price ro non-Crahn allies then thats who you should be able to get it off.

Yeah... but thats more fake or corrupt cults who do that. Or just people exploiting the fact that they were a member of a certain religion to get money from the poor... such as the middle ages with christianity.

You experiment on people and mutants without remorse, so why would you be bothered about making money?
I have no idea what that is even meant to mean.
So what if we experiment upon Mutants... Protopharm made mutants anyway, and they don't think. Except the Regant Mutants, and thats Protopharms fault once more for letting drugs get into the wrong hands.
Additionally we do have to make a certain amount of money to keep the cult going, but we aren't so desperate that we are going to start selling armour that we created to our enemies.
Meh what do I care, the bootleggers at Escador will sell the PA anyway.

Hmmm... about those bootleggers...
I think they should sell the PAs at a LOWER quality of condition... bootleg, see.. This would include the tank pas and monk pas, and the spy/pe pas if they're ever sold commercially.

I think I need to clear something up:rolleyes:
I never had an interview by any body in the game about the Cartel. However, I have talked to the Cartel and have worked out a NAP ( Non Agression Pact ) with our two clans.
What this means is that we are neutral with each other. We stay out of each others way. We have agreed to help each other if needed to defend our OPs against our common enemies TG & FA only. Yes I did ask them to stop killing ALL TT people as well :)
No we won't help them against CM , as we are allied with CM.
