Hey guys and happy new year to you all.

Well I`m thinking of buying a new graphics card and was thinking of this one: Sapphire Radeon 9800 PRO 128 MB which is gonna set me back about 365 dollars or 201 £.

I`ve noticed that this card is fairly old and I wonder if it is worth its price or if I should go for something cheaper like the 9600xt series perhaps. Or is there anything new in the pipeline that I should save my money for?

I`m having a bit of trouble of orientating my self in the graphic card jungle so a little help would be...ehh helpfull:p. I`ve been sticking to nvidea for a long time now and currently own a asus gf4 ti4600.

Why on earth are you changing your graphics card when you have a TI4600?
Wait till you NEED the card, the most stupid thing you can do in the hardware world is buying hardware before you need it.

I would advise the 5900XT/5900SE (it's the same). It's basically a highend card with a midend price.
