Ok Everyone wants PPU's to be nerfed ... I recon all PPU's should stand together and not help others ... For the next 3 days starting today (Especialy on 4 player servers wher eyou got options) put your PPU away until thursday, Let him sleep....When a clan needs you to rezz .. for loyalty - reme,ber your loyalty to your class.....
The only way KK will listen is when the forums are full of ... bring back the PPU cause we need some lovin.....
Its absolute crap how we are the hardest characters to level, can harm no one, can kill no one and yet we are the most hated ..... Enough now ..... If you don't have a PPU I don't want to hear about your 'Exclusive Opinion' start your own thread....
If you think that its wrong to do this , and have a PPU then post your opinions...
Yes i have other chars and have been , parashocked, lost op wars, been up against the Might of the poor PPu so I have been there
Lexxuk tried it already, it still wont work.
if you can get this working, do it. It wont happen tho.
You just know you will have an OP war, enemy will bring PPU's, then oh look, all PPU's come back from retirement.

i wrote a 5 page post containing: PPU, HYBRIDS, PE-nerfs etc etc etc
but i accidentally pressed a wrong button and now it is gone :mad:
good thing is: it saves me alot of flaming, bad thing is that i told the truth about them classes and im to lazy to rewrite it

to simplify it:
PPU: takes LOONG to level, is major expensive: let them be
HYBRID: why did they ever nerf em ? cause a few dumbasses "owned" people with there hybrid in PvP and KK sledgehammerd them ...
PE: daamn , they should been nerfed long time ago instead of getting new goodies every patch (make stealth SPY-only, make blessed spells PSi-only)
DRONER: give the droner (a extremely hi specialisation char) all the loving that ya gave to the "i cap my char in 1 day and there cheap as hell to play with PE" ,and droners will be ok
APU: nerf the HL slightly, boost the FA greatly
And about mc5 chips: get all mc5 chips to req 95 or bring em all to req 90 , but not SA only to 90 yust because some PE's whine that they cant use em ... they pretend that everyone plays a PE lol and make some foney polls and make some I WANT THIS AND THAT SIGS who they all use ... and KK yust does what they say. While i know fo sure that not every person who plays ingame also posts in the forum: so ya cant talk about: but MAJORITY wanted it ...
they allready got a rezz of the libby, what they want more ? a pistol that does 52000 damage/shot but only to PPU's ..??

I'm a PPU enthusiast. Unfortunately my friends have been doing some MC5 lately so a boycott wouldn't be practical. I'm PPUing for fellow enthusiasts though. :)

i have to disagree... in a week my PPU was almost able to wear PA1 (thats on a server i hadnt been on, around people i didnt know - ok a couple i knew, but all were noob chars without loads of money etc)

i havnt seen a fucking nerf PPU thread in a while now....
no ppus will play for 2 days? awsome. ppus arnt needed to enjoy the game. i solo leveled my tank to 85-90ish str without ppu support, i even leveled my apu to about 75 psi without a ppu. maybe if no ppus log, we can actually have a good fight somewhere

PPUs should not be nerfed more than they alredy have been. id like to see a team of tanks, spys and apus together go to MC5 and try to kill the mobs inside MC5 ( not the nOOb one) without a ppu. i bet you whont live. nerf ppus = no MC5s. cystal caves will be hell. worm tunal you can kiss goodbye. power lvling will be nerly imposible. someone has good turrent setup in OP your screwed if your trying to take it.
Leave PPUs alone. Anyone dedicated enough to play one deserves whatever benefits they gain.
Instead of nerfing ANYTHING, why not give other classes more stuff? IE, in an uneven surface, use filler instead of sanding.
IE, instead of nerfing stealth, introduce a device that tanks can use to see and target stealthed enemies. (and only tanks, due to the specialised combat training required to use them, you could say).
This not only keeps the ppl that would be nerfed from getting cranky, but gives the rest of us more stuff to do.
Nerfing just makes ppl unhappy, and makes some ppl leave. Give us the tools to deal with the "imbalances" on our own. In any kind of real world setting, someone always invents a way to deal with someone elses' advantage.

I Think PPUs are good as they are only a few minor tweaks one to the cast time of rezz, wat was wrong with it before, and Keep Para as it is but nerf the stickiness if not just put it back to how it was :p

Seriously, I dont understand where you people are getting this stuff. I try and respect other peoples views on balance but all these post these posts that try and say PPUs are not a vital as people think are just plain wrong. Every one says op battles and crap wont be fun any more and will last 3 seconds but they seem to forget how great op battles used to be.
Personally, I could care less about any thing the PPU has at this moment other than parashock. He can keep his uber defense, I dont care if I cant kill him. Just take out parashock. I know in fact PPUs will be harder to kill without parashocking them, but I could seriously care less about that. In the grand scheme of things it will bring more balance to the game to take it out.

Im a ppu and I beleive where to damn important and to damn immortal.
You cant have a god walking around who has as much importance as us and call it balanced its just rediculous.

hehe thats a way of seeing the situation also :P
and tir: i got one myself :) so it would be hypocritical to say i dislike em, but its a good diversion of taking the people there mind of the PPU :)
what else i gonna say ? nerf the spy's ? a spy can use stealth yeah but he cant even use the first shelter ... let alone the blessed spells ...
Or nerf the melleetanks ? THEY RUN TO FAST :P give the batqueenimp -15 agility and athl :P

exactly how i feel. i will gladly give up my 4 slot holy para for a rare..... you know what... dosnt matter, take it out, wont ruin my day. op battles usta be about the best fighters going head on head, now its whos ppus can get everyone frozen first. huge lack of skill there. theres tons of very skilled tanks and PEs around that dont look that badass anymore because this point and click monk fighting has removed alot of the skill, the fun(unless parashocking and clicking a non moving target is fun), the origional pvp

Oh come on you know that would just be stupid. If we did that what would you guys bitch about? You would be bored and it would be our faults.
Id rather play on a server with 50 ppl online and no PPUs than a
server with 150 ppl and PPUs.
I had a ppu up till recently, now lommed to apu. got fed up of people bitching about us on here then bitching in game if we didn't heal/rezz/buff whatever fast enough
People say ppu's ruin op wars and u can't have a decent fight anymore, maybe so if u can do is shoot the nearest thing that crosses ur screen without a little planning or tactics.
And people want a server without ppu's? lol bye bye cst 3, spy3 etc u'd find it a lot harder to get your equipment built, to get ur high tl implants poked, and to get ur nice shiny cs repped without losing a load off of it's max condition.
You don't like ppu's? don't level with 'em and in a fight use ur brain rather than ur mouse button

Evolution is in retirement till thursday then. i agree with it. one day someone will turn around and say. "God i wish i had a ppu so i could lvl quicker!" Some people just dont understand that without PPU's there isn't much point in going OP fighting now. everyone dies. :mad:

theres some people who dont go to op wars cause there are ppus there, me being one of them. the god like buffs(or so they are called) dont bother me a bit, that keeps everyone alive longer and makes a good skilled fighter able to hold his own if he gets a little teamed up on, but being nailed to the ground makes you either A) take up a drug habit of antishock b) keep your ass inside a ppu's carth sanctum or c) die. i remeber when in an op fight you'd worry about how many fighters were coming to the battle, ppus wernt an issue, now its oh they have 4 ppus and a blah blah... dosnt matter cause the ppus offset even the best offensive team

Let people who never had the chance have the chance to experience some proper pvp :p
When tanks where the first in battle machines with spies, pe's lurking about (cuz yes no uber ppu deflect or shelter to render there primary weapons useless) and the custom clan uber hybrid for backup....
Pure monks should be uber hard to achieve imo they should be a rariety a reward for those who put a lot and i mean a lot of time and effort into, the thing should be some kinda crahn epic in itself to see if your worthy to even begin pure training....
i dunno kk your slowly.... very slowly getting it there.....

i dont use my ppus unless somebody needs a res and I generally dont use ppus for levelling unless they need somebody to level with.
And more importantly without ppus people might get some skills and op fighting and pvping in pepper park might be fun again.

At time of this posting both the above posting were in the first 6 postings on the list
2 things I saw last night while on ... both on trade ....
1) PPU advertising for about 30 minutes ... advert something like this
PPU Need level 30sh runners to level with , DM ME
And when I logged he was still looking for someone to level with....
2) Need Hi Level PPU to go to MB.....
Makes me think....Not only is it hard to level a ppu, harder than any char or class, but then no one seems to want low level PPU's around ....
A ppu is expected to be hi level to be helpfull, so he is expected to go APU , get to level 50 somewhere and then spend hours lomming.... Then get hurt cause the forums says so.....
Let the op wars come, and PPU's say no .... Guys need to be true to your class first. If what most people get what they wish, you PPU will be useless anyway...they want no ress, no para, no shields , no heal, no deflectors....just easy cannon fodder....
Boycott tonight, and lets see how it goes....No rezzing tonight, no matter how much presure.....lets have PPU free op wars, then when all baring the last one or 2 are dead, leave them and you can rezz them another day.....But I want this twats who keep on wanting ppu nerfed to come running and beg for some loving..... So they realise what PPU's actually do for them.....
AT MC5, lets show these guys (the Anti PPU's) that we are the reason they can do MC5, not them....Without us there is no MC5 hunting...without them...hey if you have to you can punch the commander to death :)
Mebbe as a weekend policy this weekend, lets adopt ... no rezzing policy, buff only under 30's ranking, and level your dex on ppu by imping instead... :)
I suppose its easy for guys who have all the toys ... MC5 chips and all to say - screw ppu's.
Hey I care less about holy para, and even downgraded to a normal one ... cause it cast faster and slottage is easier to achive and the enemy dont see it commin.... :)
Anyways sure get rid of para...and for the people who feel ppu's should have lower buffs and heal,, Suggest a wy to balance them (Not that they need it).... Yes a semi God mode is out there...until a tank tl3 heal u, and a apu anti buffs you ... I have seen even the greatest PPU's fall and die ... and bitch cause killing ppu's are like killing unicorns and goats ... not good...
If you want to get rid of PPU's semi god mode, then raise dex to 60, so they can psitol and be able to defend self through facing their opposition instead of running and healing .....
Nah, i play on pluto, can only afford to pay for one account (yeah, college is teh suck). I have had my ppu since early retail, i refuse to not play for a few days. Sorry.
If I did that with my n00b PPU, all the low lvl APUs I know would have leveled way above me and I would never level at any resonable rate. Plus I wouldn't do it even if he was capped/near capped.
