yes its true.
people who know me on the forums and ingame may have noticed i havent been around, well i have logged on once since the patch and that was only to give someone an item they want.
the current patch has little to do with it - however i am just bored of the game. i am not canceling my account (yet) and would appriciate it if the mods didnt deactivate my forum account (as i will still have an active and paid for account).
i found myself running around plaza 1, jumping on lamp posts... and.. wel lthats it.
there is simply no end game content. i am sick of running through a cave... i am sick of PvP with the abuse (win or lose... kiddies still PM you with abuse). i am sick of now not being able to tradeskill in one area (although i applaud the attempt to populise the entire NC world).
for a good few motnhs i have only played because of the community. on that not there are a few people i would like to thank:
the entire ssc clan - you made NC alot better for me, i have no doubt about that
Quantum Delta, i know you come under the first one but you have really been a good friend. when i was a noob and didnt know anyone you gave me 100k to get me started. about 3 months later i joined ssc to find out you were the leader (technicallY)
Matt_UK24 and Lee D'Mellow (spelling? sorry lee) - you were the first clan i was ever in, i have faught along side you, and later aginst you. i remember good times hacking uTs OP's as APAS :D
sYn - my brothers char was in sYn for a long time, i then took over the char and i had to make a choice between ssc or sYn. i was sorry to have to make the choice, but i realise it had to happen and hold no grudges :D
Rabbi Fang - again you come (came?) under sYn, but you were a good friend worth mentioning. fought along side you (both as sYn and as ssc) and against you. once saw you (a pistol PE) solo kill 6 guys... made me laugh :)
Oath - good man, gave me a PPR when he left Uranus, is now back :D leveled together on pluto and a good mate on IRC. props to you
Danae - recently i have been talking to you alot out of game and a bit ingame, i have attempted to level with you when you are on your personal account and i know how many times you stop leveling your own character to help others out with help tickets etc. before i got to know you i thought all KK just sat there laughing at our problems, but now i know different. [[[I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT I KILLED DANAE'S DEV CHAR WITH A WYATT EARP SPY]]] :D:lol::D
there are plenty more... dont be offended if i missed you out, but im at work now and am in a hurry.
i would like to point out that while i am effectivly quiting, i will still be arranging SUKING with Danae, and i will still be attending. nothing will change there.
ill be on the forums less now (or not at all if the mods kill my forum account... I STILL HAVE ACTIVE nc ACCOUNT... please dont :D)
i will be playing another MMORPG, i have met NeoFrog and afew Ronins there, i am also playing a Half Life mod, The Specialists.
keep on the look out for Jest'r on a MMORPG, and anyone with UNTC_ before the name in TS could be me :D
