Not once have I ever posted to complain about the lack of updates. Never, have I ever pissed and moaned about paying for a game that is broken. Never, have I ever stated either of these facts here on the boards. Now that I have that out of the way, does ANYONE, know anything more about DoY? I know MJS said by the end of January (correct me if I'm wrong) but I'm dying to know SOMETHING. I don't even care what it is but I am just dying to hear a release date or something.

You know, Ive noticed a patern that most games follow, but neocron doesnt. Usually with most MMORPG's (I dont care if the diference is FPS) they release info at LEAST like 2-3 months befor release, unless they have some serious doubts about there ability to sell there product, Now I aint saying this about anyone "wink wink ;) ) but come on. Look at Doac, or EQ, or AO or whatever man! jeez show us some love. Somebody open up a thread for KK called "NEW years resolutions for Reaktor" or something :p

A mate told me that all inactive neocron accounts that arnt re activated within the 3 month run up to doy get deleted when doy is released.

Is this right? As it means either wasting cash on a months subscription that i cant use (because im at uni) or not bothering with cron when doy comes out because i cant be arsed starting from scratch.

Well no matter what the length of time it will be before BDoY comes out, you can be assured that a lot of stuff has to happen in game before it does. So at the very least your wait will be filled with a lot of events. :p

Someone mentioned that there will be Vendors that sell your items in BDoY. If so, I think they are making it similar to the consignment system in Horizons.

Basically you come up to an npc, set a price for stuff you made/found and the consigner npc charges 10% and leaves the item in their inventory for a week. If it doesn't sell it goes back to your vault (like gogo). You can reduce/increase the price if you want while it's still on consignment.

It may not work exactly like that, as in they may just give you money and have their own price (Horizons has another npc that does this, the pawnbroker), but I think an economy based solely on the players, where the only things at vendors are those you sell to them would help improve the economy and prevent millions of money coming out of nowhere.

afaik - Vendors wont charge anything.

So it should only be the price you set.
