For once i enjoyed the event that took place on saturn a second ago. In case anyone on saturn missed it, ceres warriors invaded CRP. The event lasted about an hour, and i enjoyed it a lot.
No pking, enemies were ressing each other, for once it was a decent event.
I shall post some screenshots in 10mins (just have to upload them and make them smaller etc) so gimmie a bit of time.
Thx mr GM person for doing the event, fuck off the person who tried to hack cycrow

the event owned bigtime, well the part we have had owned :P
2 bad for some people spoiling but the piece we had was extremely fun, and i didnt even see 1 person get PKed, Pked by a doomharbinger yeah :)
but rezzed 2 seconds after

Just 2 little footnotes:
- Please do not hack the OPs if the GRs are opend for the event.
- Now as the GMs got new powers "follow offical orders" and so on.
So.. The admin message "no pvp please" sounds like the old days for me... How about "no pvp. period." ?
But it was great fun and the zone didnt crash. w00t, loved it :cool:

this is the kind of thing I really dont think is fair. its 1 pm on the east coast and the event is over.... was there even one american involved? the earliest an event should ever happen is 9 pm gmt... I belive thats 4 pm eastern... and thats earliest... if you cant stay up till 9 in europe then you have a problem, and it gives people in the US at least a small chance to participate... The latest starting event Ive EVER seen was the terminator event, and even that was too early for Americans who work... please start making events later in the day.
If a gm dont want the op to be hacked during event he seals it off with invisible boxes or bd faction guards at the hackterm, end of story. Dont go break off an event just cause you forgot to do that (if that wasnt supposed to happen). Besides the bd owning the op are big boys, they can rehack it after the event if they loose it to some smucks. This is another fine example of what you should and shouldnt have done. [Edited For Flames - Ulle] dont you guys ever plan for such things ahead?
Otherwise it was a great event. Good monsters and good group pvm action. GG everyone.

Looks nice but it would be nicer if we knew BEFOREHAND when an event will take place on a particular server so we can be online at the time.

Events SHOULD be announced. We have been getting few events as it is already.
Is KK expecting everyone to be constantly loged on waiting for an event to be announced ingame??
Thats just stupid if u ask me.

You really haven't missed much. I don't even think it was an event so much as a stability test. There was no reward or anything for it, just some plain large-scale PvM. Shame about the tossers who haxed the Op and the TG guards who could've been despawned beforehand, but overall quite fun.
If you remember that event a while ago with the Y troopers and DoY bots around CRP... basically that MK2.

Only major storyline events should be announced ahead of time.
Or events with unique prizes like the terminator one we head.
All other events should just happen often enough that everyone gets to participate at some point in time.

and kuz the storyline is made by players aswell, i think u know whats the story betwen our 2 clans dont ya

Alot of events happen in at night US time, about 3am here, some would say its not fair we have to wait up, imo as long as the even isnt too important to the story its fine to have it when its most convenient for the gms.
edit: oh and dont suppose this will be repeated on pluto?

There are people always working no matter what .. . 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 12 hour shifts . . . no matter what time they do an event it won't be fair to those who are working :p . You'll plz one set and piss of or make sad another. I"m personally a 2nd shift worker 4pm - 12am Central. Yay i get on at peak times of 30-100 ppl :D
Anyhow looked like fun. Even if it is PvM with nothing else in mind than just Kill the mobs .. it's still mayham and everyone working together to accomplish that goal.
