El Farid Spawn

Last night on saturn my self and Punisher-x decided to go level our new monks as we usually do at El Farid. Only to find that the spawn had drastically increased.

At least 30 Giant scorpions on level 1, and in level 2, well see here :-

There were also Crystal Cave bats, and sanvipers in each pit on level 1.
Excellent xp for us two, the screens are courtesy of Tach who got a Titan armor.

Caves should be more like this, its alot harder but alot more fun.

I want them to do this will all servers if its been done on one, because i like training down there :D but theres never a queen when i go, and theres normaly only 5 giants max...:(

it was on pluto also, but its gone now. it was mad down there, i got some nice screens too :)

Since we are talking about El Farid- where do you find the big queen? I have been down to the second level on Saturn, and its always empty. Plenty of larges spawn on the first level, in and around the pits... but I have never seen the queen.

Anthony and I got pwned when we took our noobs down there to level. He got out, but barely.

It was pretty frickin cool.

Yah. I remember having a nasty shock a month back when I suddenly found myself poisoned on Lvl2. I was running for my life when I saw there was a Sandviper King down there. Lexx joined me and we were running around the end room madly trying to flush the Queen out so she'll stop spawning the Giants, but we kept getting poisoned or set on fire. I think I got careless at one point and died but I blame that on Lexx luring the mobs up my rear when I wasn't looking :)

Cool to see Fenfires down there too. Nasty shocks would make that level interesting. I'll got to go have a look soon. It's a lot more dangerous now that the number of mobs is so insane right at where you zone in. I wish there's a little less right at the entrance though as it sucks horribly when you lag/synch as you come in. You die without any chance of survival. Also, the rather insane number of mobs seem to affect how soon things decay (correct me if I'm wrong please). It is very frustrating to spend an hour trying to kill the queen only to have its body decay in under 15 seconds before I could loot it (this only happened to me once).

Queenie's on level 2. It is often empty, but it seems to have some sort of spawning rule these days rather than requiring a GM so it's occupied a lot more than a few months back. I'm still not sure what the pattern is. Got a feeling you have to clear out BOTH levels before level 2 respawns. Not too bothered really providing it's occupied from time to time.

heh yup it was sweet down there me and 2 mates spent about 3 hours on the first level tho becuse my apu is kinda poo i died loads, gotta get her psi n con higher
