worlds\dungeons\caves_p1.bsp has been doing some insider trading.

Yeah exactly the same problem here, already reinstalled and repatched twice but I still get the damn FRE on launch after downloading worlds\dungeons\caves_p1.bsp. Any ideas guys?

Ive had the same as you, it was my ati radeon card..
i just shut all the programs with ati radeon in it down in my windows task manager
