Yes it's that time again!
Its the Guess the Ringtone take 2!
Last time, Nid Mod-Haxxed my phone and got most of them, while MayhemMike was a complete n00b at it.
To hear the tones, right-click the link and select 'Save Target As...' as just clicking on them doesn't work for some reason :confused:
Here we go.

this will give you instructions to get the Nokia code for the tunes, though some don't have the code yet
(whether this will work is another thing :p )

Then get em and play em. And damn it now I gotta dust of my old PS 1 and pop in FF VII after hearing the old #1 ringtone.
12 has been used on different FF games
if you can identify where it is on FFI or FFVII then i'll be happy

but where (in a computer game) was it used?

Moon light sanata?
Mog had that ability in ff3 :)
Edit - number 8 is castlevania on the pc
12 - Level Up in FFVII. Only one I'm confident of and everyonw beat me to it :(.
8 - Does sound like a horrific rendition of The Moonlight Sonata but that didn't occur till I saw someone else suggest it.
It's not a level up, it's just when you win a battle.
#12 Yep I checked with my old copies. They sound similar in FF VI to FF VII(woulda checked more but im lazy) but FF V victory theme is the closest to the ringtone. And I was just playing FF VII, and whenever I leveled up I didnt hear any music, let alone music that was similar to the ring tone.
Must be victory then. I seemed to remember it meaning something a bit better than that but heh...

12 is victory music. I believe it is a softer tone when you level up.
Well i got the game right, and the fact that u get it on the XP screen.
Jesus bitches! i havent played FFVII since the month it was released on PSX, gimme a break :rolleyes: :lol:
To finalise:
It is the Win Battle music on FFI
It is the Win Battle music on FFVII
It is the Win Race at the chocobo races in FFVII
as hippieman says, it does make an appearance in the others, but i couldn't be arsed finding my copies to check :lol:
#8 is Moonlight Sonata, however there is a playstation game that used this music.
(i didn't expect anyone to get #8 so fast)
i am suprised no one has got #11 though, its a classic.
... I'm surprised Nid hasn't posted them all yet, like last time you did this :P
Anyway, I'd guess, but that'd involve being on a computer with working sound.

Ringtone 12 - Played on your victory over Culex (the secret I'ma-fuck-you-up boss) in place of the normal victory theme in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
All the others have been done, but I just thought that I'd get credit for being obscure... :lol:
