Basically, here's what I think. Lets say you have 3 runners, PPU A, PPU B, and Researcher

Researcher wants a construct skill boost to up his research skill and PPU A and PPU B both say they can cast it

PPU A had 150 PPU skill and PPU B has 175

As it is now, both spells would give the same + to research

My idea is to make it where PPU B wud give more

So while PPU A only gives lets say + 8 to research

PPU B give + 12 because he is a higher PPU skill

But this would then go down to the pe's getting more rc/pc/health/resists from they're spells as opposed to the spy's and tanks, making them miss out, though say if you left the cap as it is, meaning you have to reach 576% (or close to it) to get the full bonus from the buff, then sure. Still the tanks would miss out on the extra health, force resist and/or hc (depending if they spec for it...)

maybe they should fix the bug where the stats that the buff is supposed to add to are not displayed in the item info window.

i personally don't like this idea. seems a bit unfair to leveling PPUs

Are you a ppu, Penguin? If damage mattered on booster spells then we would need to get 3+ slotted spells made for each booster! It's bad enough with how many slotted spells we need, don't need to add another 12. Even more nice spells to drop when you die.
