The draw range i thinks around the 550 meter mark tho so judge it on that

Not directly.

You can only work it out with weapons that have sub-clipping plane range, and walk backward till you exceed the weapons stated range and can't get a reticle on the target.

Daft thing is you can walk out off weapons range with rifles ie silent hunter, redemer, distuptor, etc. so i haven't got a clue how smeg that happens if the draw range is 550m. lol

There's a slight difference between maximum target draw distance and absolute terrain clipping plane - about 15 or 20m.

Hence people frequently moaning about the supposed range advantage of rifles being pointless.

The Silent Hunter is the most extreme example of this.

Stated (capped) range is almost 3km.

Possible hit distance is 550m.

One really has to wonder if the KK team get paid in crack at times :rolleyes:
