[new] World Map

[Ascension]

I thought how cool the new world map was, then i remembered where are all the gogo and ASG blimps on the map 2 show us where they are...

SO i downloaded them both, extracted them and combined them here it is what do you think?

The Fonts look very nice and so does the map in general,

personaly i think you should leave the NeMa bit on as it completes the look :)

Yeah I couldnt see the point in labeling the
"other gates(exluding Ops)" simply because this new maps shows them with the names next to them.:)

the ems map had

U,M etc next to Ops to show uplink and mine etc but now it says the full op name:p

How would we put it in if we wanted to use it? Do we just convert to .bmp and put in the proper folder or does it need to be a .pak file?

Now here the prob i got maybe some 1 can help.. i compress it after the edit.. and then load up nC and the map is in black and white..

Guess this makes it a beta:(

am gonna post the compressed file on here, can peeps please test it and gimmi feed back, NOTE

You need 2 make this directory:

C:\Program Files\Neocron\language\eng\gfx\maps

this means makin the file gfx and maps then simply place the file in maps and boot up NC

Ok i stuck the map in and its giving me the same problem you had, basicly its in Black and White :confused: :(

This is the only thing i could find wrong with it.

Oh and by the way the link in your second post doesnt work:o ;)

I've been using the neocron.ems.ru map for a looong time cause the NEMA map is UGLY and way too complicated :p

Now I only need to get rid of the NEMA ad and I'll be a happy PE again ^^

[EDIT: My photoshop just said it cannot open the file as it's unable to parse the image file ... that kinda .... sucks]

I can take the nema Logo off.. But im havin probs gettin it 2 run in NC atm.. al have a crack at 2 moz, or now :D

Keep the NeMa Logo on, we worked hard to make that new map damnit!!

What did you save the map as? a BMP but what colours etc?:confused:

I made some tweaks.. and am gonna supply the map with and without the nema logo, which we all love so much :D
