Multiple accounts

ok i got 2 accounts, 2 comps and a router...if i connect with account a on comp a, then with account b on comp b, account a goes tits up.

im pretty sure its a port number thingy...but if i change it in the ini file NC cant connect

what am i doing wrong?

got a firewall running on the pc that your changing the port on ? Make sure the port is open

have one set to port 8000 and the second to 8020.....that works for me and thats the same machine

k cheers, how do i check the port is open lol, im a computer dumbarse...tho i did set up this network so im not THAT bad

Your router should have an interface program where you can adjust the settings.

You need to add this line to both Neocron ini files. But, don't change any of the other port settings in the ini file.

LOCALPORT = "6002"

Obviously, make the port number different on both machines.
6002, 6004 whatever is easiest to remember for you.
You might have to add those port numbers to your routers built in firewall software.

Give the LOCALPORT change a try before messing with any of the router settings.
