cant seem to connect

when the autoupdater comes up it says
ERROR: could not connect to server.
but my connection is fine and so is the IP i put in. Is anyone else having this problem? becouse this is rly weird.

Try doing a full file check - and even reinstalling.

I think there was a thread a day or two ago, someone had a similar problem.
