This should be a fun project then.... if I ever get to putting my good pc back together.
Might just have to keep the tower on it's side like a desktop, at least when moving it.

http://www.pcabusers.com/reviews/thermalright/slk900a/p1.html Holy shit! That thing weighs 527g *without* a fan! I think I'd be content with the water-cooling setup I plan to put in my next comp. :) :D

oh yeh, my PC retailer wants to sellme that thing when my old cooler broke three times in a row.
but i dont want to affort 60€+a fan.
well it was woth a try if u have cooler socket holes in you mobo and best is the fan u need runs REAL SLOW so it allmost make no noise.
but wo cares if u everything u hear is HD GFX Powersupply fans :)
My XP2500 Athlon came packaged with a Cooler/Fan and is as quiet as a dead mouse - now if I can get it all to work
Yeah i just went for retail cpu last time - with retail amd fan. Had no problems with it whatsoever, stable as a rock.
I dont think the gains from overclocking these days are really worth the potential loss in stability you might get - that said, I'm still using my old case with 6 fans on it, it sounds a little like a rocket taking off when i turn it on :)
pish!
Just get a good copper heatsink with a quality fan and a nice case with a some good fans giving plenty of airflow. I shudder to think what strain that'd pu on your mobo, especially i you gave your cas a knock

Got 7 case fans in my new one as well, plus 2 on power supply, the cpu fan, and the gfx card fan. I wouldn't be surprised if it just took off and flew into the wall. :p
