System Requirments Ok?

I get horable FPS when playing like around 8 noramly, im gonna upgrade my pc once i have neough cash to do so, but i have heard many ppl say nc is more dependent on cpu speed rather then having a nice video card, if this is true could somone tell me ^^.

is anyone else using a 1.4 Ghz athlon ^^ yea i know its pretty old now ^^ hehe, but dose anyone running one of those get good fps with an ok video card? or vice versa, say i get a better video card and stay with my 1.4 athlon is that gonna help my fps or am i gonna have to get both?

Btw i will be updating both but 1 at a time since im not very rich ^^ jsut wanna know which i should update first, also im using a 12$ video card which has mnade me happy up to a certain point but i cant even play bf1942 or halo for pc cause it dosnt have hardware and texture lighting :(

Though there probobly is some sort of formula to it, it's mainly luck of the draw when it comes to Neocron. There seriously wasn't much difference in FPS when I switched from a voodoo3/500MHz to GF4 TI4200/1.73GHz. If you want a drastic increase in FPS turn off Vsync ;).
