If I remember rightly, Shadow Dancer's most ardent wish was that all monks would be set as hybrids.
I'm sort of having a bit of a problem fully rationalizing this idea, but..
what if APU/PPU was removed, all PSI spells just have PSI and MST as a req, and overspecced MST/PPW is needed for damage %
Psi Resist would have to work properly now...
Would all PSI damage spells have to have like 30% to 50% PSI damage basis, and DamageBoost/Parashock and non-selfcast shelt/def/heal have PSI as their basis?
Would damage spells have to be toned down with all these changes?
So basically... PSI would become basically a large spread of choices that graduate between pure passive playing and pure aggressive playing...
I'm still not sure that I like/support the idea, but it's certainly an interesting proposition to think about and discuss. This, of course, is in a separate vein than my concurrent APU thread.
