What the freak is wrong with my Neocron Launcher?

You know when you click on your launcher and that NC page comes up. And it says stuff like "DL the new launcher here" and it tells you the ip to put. Then at the top it says play game, play tutorial, check files...........


Well for some reason just now my launcher stopped working. First off the IP box is BLANK and doesn't have the IP. When I click the launcher, I don't get the page I describe above, I get this........... http://www.reakktor.com/?LANG=ENG&IP=&PORT=1242156&VERSION=192


Wtf is up with that?


And then when I put the IP in and click on "play game" it goes blank and nothing happens.


However if I click the "client" program in my neocron folder, then I can play the game fine.

Your .ini's and luancher are boinked, just reinstall. That’s by far the easiest way.

I've reinstalled Neocron once.... and im glad i did.....

My view range is so much further now, musta made some kind of change that I wasnt aware of.

I raised the resolution of the game to 1280 to 1024 or something like that, I left a little vegetation on..... *drools*

my launchers borked too, its opening up in a HUGE window and no text is appearing on the buttons.

oddly enough, it happened after i fataled :rolleyes:

shadow, that happened to my boyfriends launcher, exactly the same thing, he reinstalled, and it was fine after that...except it took him nearly 3 hours cos he has the us patcher bug....lol

Before you reinstall try to make a new Neocron.ini

Copy and paste this:
Name it neocron.ini(it should be an "Archive file")

And in your ini folder the updater.ini should look like this:

If you have the original CD's they have a Repair feature intergrated in the Installer..
