I started getting massive delays in seeing msgs sent by you lot, chunks of text would appear, then it just died.
Seems to be some odd stuff going on with IRC. Lost a couple mods and MJS for a while there.
Been on the enterthegame network since 1999(when there were like 20 channels). It truly is a terrible server. Splits like that have been present since the very beginning. Had some friends that gave the admins trouble for a really long time. I suppose it was okay though, they made them smarter and in the end gave them a better and more stable irc server. I'd say reconnect. Should solve the problem, you'll connect back to the server that didn't get split off.
well atm me and omnituens are the only ppl with the wannabe mod + thingy
all the @ mods got kicked Oo chanserv aswell, so like, yea . . . my channel now bitches :D
[edit] bounty, theres only 7 of us that didnt split, and yah, i r irc noob :lol:

it was just a netsplit, happens alot on enterthegame. not so much as it does on gamesnet. and sometimes the US enterthegame server goes down and people cannot connect to it.
btw there was a dick in there last night kicking ppl out thru DDOS'ing them
dont remember their names ( were 2 of them ) but they kiked me out. and said anyone who pk's them will get ddos'd as well... a bitch i dont got the logs
edit: actually one of them are in there now, named crypto
edit2: and sry it wasnt last nite, forgot >.< have had rough week, was saturday night some guy came in not even knowing wtf neocron was and crypto and him decided to become buds, crypto started naming off ppl to DDOS, and he did it.

Netsplits are (unfortunately) a routine part of IRC life. The above message means that NickName, who was on a channel with you, was on a different server from you and this server split off from the part of the net you are on.

When A and B rejoin, you will see users from B, C and E "rejoin" the channel you were on.
Note that netsplits are all from the point of view of the user. After a netsplit rejoins people might ask where you went -- because from their perspective, -you- split off. That was something new to me. I always tought that IRCNet was teh first ircnetwork and most restricted and moderated (Unlike EFNet where you can seek something that starts with letter "w").

It is, and always will be Mase/Preacher's channel, but Howler, Thane, and I have had ops for the last 3 years so we take care of it like our baby :p And abuse it as well, though no one abuses it like mase lol
