seriously, on saturn about every other , if not every, day a person who plays pluto is on ooc stating how everyone on saturn is a noob and needs to play pluto to be "uber"
what basis do you have that makes saturn newber than pluto?
IF ANYTHING pluto is newb compaired to saturn...
saturn server was turned on about 2-3 months before the pluto server. that alone makes pluto more newb than saturn
and if saturn is so newb WHY do people from pluto go there and boast about their leet uber capped chars on pluto...
and no im not talkin down to you people who play pluto and dont do this, its just annoying to see someone on ooc saying ex: "stfu noobs. this server is for noobs goto pluto." why dont they go back to pluto instead of sittin on saturn and telling people they suck.
I tried saturn, You know that, I left saturn when i realised 90% of the population are asshats and tbh, when I solo'd 3 of the ''ubar PKars!!111'' on saturn with my gimped research/hack/repair/rifle spy, i thought what the hell am I on here for ?!? this aint fun lol its a waste of time.

Thats on sad thing about internet. When i was a 12 yrs old kid. If i want to insult someone, i would better have good leg and good stamina, or i would have my ass kick in no time. we did learn to respect people, and not just be a total shithead..

its just that all around the people on pluto *were* more skilled than peeps on saturn...
but now its basically the same i guess...even though ive only fought a few people on saturn, for the most part it just seems that people are generally better at PvP on pluto...

Pluto is single character so there are no spies (almost). You cant cst/res for yourself or pull out a capped alt tank. Good enough reasons to call it a more "hardcore" server. Pluto aslo died because of this, people wanted to try other kinds of characters besides their one and moved to saturn... then never came back.
People go to Saturn all call them noobs in a sad/hopeless attempt to pull people back to Pluto

A month, if that. Saturn went live for the UK release in mid-to-late October, then Pluto went up in early November. I bought NC from GamePlay in the UK, made a char on Saturn, then about a week later went over to Pluto and never looked back. Pluto was live before CDV managed to get NC into US stores.
Pluto is single character so there are no spies (almost). You cant cst/res for yourself or pull out a capped alt tank. Good enough reasons to call it a more "hardcore" server

i play on all english servers and i must say that every server is exhaling he's own kind of athmosphere, thats what i like about it.

Shujin, I am quoting this from another thread I posted this to, but this is my personal experience with Saturn which has really been rather negative:
I've recently started playing on Saturn just to have something to do during Pluto's off-peak hours (Since Saturn is much more populated) and I am honestly disgusted by the state of affairs there. You are more likely to get ganked by your own faction members than to get one of them to talk to you. I mean heck, no one ever talks on FACTION channel. Spam is rampant. Everyone screams things, no one listens to what anyone else has to say. People are just bored running around PKing n00bs of factions so that those n00bs would get high level clanmates/faction members to come and defend them (Which they never do). Prices are through the roof because everyone and their dog has a minimum of 10 million nc and at least a few rares on every one of their alts. Compared to Pluto where I was RPing being on a date with someone, all of a sudden someone I never even met shows up, sees what we're doing and joins the RP playing a waiter in the restaurant! People actually talk on FACTION. Things get organized. Many people RP their characters as something other than psychopath killers. even the economy is still in a decent state where you can get things at reasonable prices that a n00b could actually obtain within reasonable amounts of time!
These are my own observations of things I've noticed on Saturn. Maybe this is the experience all Plutonians get and Saturnians just don't notice because they never tried Pluto? I'm not saying all of you are n00bs or anything, but IMO Saturn is in all ways inferior to Pluto. I know I am asking for it here with the whole server wars issue, but honestly, you prompted this with your topic.

Unfortunately Saturn is full of Pk'ers, its sad but true there are only a few days when one of my chars doesnt get attacked etc.
However on the good side the OP wars when they happen are MASSIVE.
I remember one fight 2 months ago when it was NewDawn / 3 FA Clans/ 2 Crahn clans (defending) vs 3 Tangent 1 NEXT 1 BD 1 CA clan (attacking) Jeriko. That fight went on for 30-40 mins and was the most immense fight ive ever been in (Gratz to all who remember it)
Saturn is your angry side even if the economy is fux0red, but Pluto imo is better for economy and general balance of PvP PK and OP wars :)

Though i would reply here as i can give you my own view on this as i played pluto for about 8 months and now play saturn for the past month and played a little part time on it before that.
Pluto for the most part as arseholes, there are a hell of a lot of kids on that server coz they "think" its the "uber leet pk'er server" so that attracts that type, hence why they goto saturn and moan on OOC and call people newbs.
Of course there are good people on pluto, many of them i played with in my time there, but most of them have left for other games now or other servers, guess they got bored doing the same shit on the same chars day in day out against the same wankers.
Saturn on the other hand has just as many idiots, mostly TG but there are some city ones too lol, but you find this in everygame, so its not server based, but there was always one difference i found with pluto and saturn, people on pluto played their chars everyday and got a little better at them, where as people on saturn play 4 chars and are not as keyed up on them, but this is different now, I have found people on saturn to be just as good if not better than a lot of people on pluto in OP wars, plus i enjoy having 4 chars, makes the game less boring after a years playing of it.
Just my view of course, but a vaild one having played both servers and seen it all.

saturn has fucked up politics due mainly to alts etc.
There are fallen angels characters in TT and tg in TT etc.
If your a known alt you get ganked, simple as that
there are also enemy factions which fight together (BD with asen)
saturn isnt an RP server
as for pluto being of higher skill??
ive played on both servers and really each has their share of good and bad players

Personally I much prefer Saturn politics. I have only very rarely been attacked by a faction ally or neutral. Generally, fights are against people from enemy factions, and we fight alongside people from friendly factions.
By contrast, whenever I logged onto Pluto and was still clanned there, I had to ask for the complete update on which allied/neutral factions were at war with us and which enemy factions were now our allies.
I am not biased in these views, that is my actual experience. However, overall, I think both servers are as bad as each other. On Pluto I was attacked by a faction ally, simply because a complete asshole in his clan decided he was better friends with a certain enemy clan than a certain friendly clan, so he joined in a war which was nothing to do with him, and as far as I know, that war is still going on.
I have experienced a similar thing on Saturn, but that was with a neutral clan becoming allied with our enemies, which I think is a little different.
Anyway, point is, I find little difference between the two servers, except that on Pluto people are more willing to fight faction allies for the lamest of reasons. But this is balanced by more people willing to RP. Overall, RP is about even on both, and proportion of assholes is about even on both. Saturn population is higher. Skill level, there is no way of comparing. Generally speaking I had an easier time fighting on Pluto than on Saturn, but I also had my ass handed to me in situations I would expect to win on Saturn, so again, roughly even.

IME ''ubar PKars!!111'' tend to suck wherever you find them. The real hard-core are too busy fighting to shit-talk.
I've played on both for a while after Pluto launched and I prefered Saturn because at that time it had far less leet-speak wankers. That changed shortly after I dumped my Pluto characters unfortunately but I've stuck with it because it's home. I've revisited Pluto a few times and never regretted leaving tbh. Even though it has undoubtedly matured (all the tossers came to Saturn :() and always had a lot of cool people there (many beta and early retail dudes went there for the clean start they didn't get on Saturn) it's just not my thing somehow.
I've always had the opposite experience to Lareolin myself. Plutonians have always seemed far less interested in helping those they see as beneath them. I'm not saying this is true, just that it's my experience. I know dozens of people on all servers who have spent countless hours helping noobs, given away tons of cash and free kit, etc.
Alts are nothing to do with this - I'm sure 90%+ of the "x>y" brigade own multiple accounts on Pluto.
@ice - Zee Germans were on Saturn before us Brits ;).
I played saturn since the start of retail.
I then went to pluto and the pvp / teamwork / setup was a lot better - and the pvp environment was much less forgiving.
I went back to saturn for a while, and in general there is a lot more gimped chars (less cookie cutters though) and the general knowledge level is lower (not intelligence - but knowledge of setups etc)
I think part of it must come from that on pluto you tend to have just 1 character (several peeps have alts i know) but that character is totally explored lommed to bits and the best combat setup (who wants your only char to get repeatedly beat down?)
has been sorted for it.
also the wealth of experience just playing one character and specialising in it, and sharing knowledge with other specialised 1 char players tends to outweigh the 4 players 'have a go at each' type mentatilty that happens on saturn.
There are exceptions to the rule, but in general pluto tends to have more knowledgable peeps classwise.
Saturn is good, its busy - more of a city style environment, but also peeps dont generally share knowledge.
If peeps get a slight edge, they tend to keep it to themselves, where pluto is a lot more open with stuff like that.
Hell pluto is very good that way, most people would rather beat someone with the same setup on talent terms instead of hollow victories against someone who is uber gimped.
I never played on saturn, i am a pure pluto boy:D
But i really tend to say that, without knowing saturn or any other server well, pluto has the best pvp skills concerning single ppls and clans. Sure pluto has a lot of loosers too, as every server has, but if you compare really good ppls and clans i think some of the pluto guys win for sure:)
I enjoy saturn but Pluto definitely has a harder edge and people go into OP wars with more drive and commitment. On pluto poeple want to win more and use tactics rather than superior numbers as I've seen alot on Saturn.
Not that its always like that on Saturn but on Pluto if you dont take is serious your going to hold the OP for all of 30 seconds.
But I lkie Saturn, my runners r getting l33t now :)
Most of the shit from allies attacking allies etc on both servers would have been solved if clanwars would have been implemented. I could not think of a better christmas gift for pluto than that considering their little messed up political situation.

I would say the opposite.
My char on Pluto is gimped since he is Combat + Research. On Saturn you can have char for each purpose instead. So you can have pure combat chars.
Its much easier to reroll on Saturn since you can keep your favorite chars, so yes, on Saturn you will find more non capped runners (but they most likely have capped alts).
I've never been killed by a Allie on purpous, and never by a CM, once or twice my FA tho. I started playing on a Saturn and for a day i tried playing pluto, and i didnt like it, and its not because i cant, wont or dont like to role play, coz i do...its just saturn is my favoured server

As for the saturn "asshats" as Fenyx calls em, if i see one i tend to avoid them or ignore them which ever is easiest, when i get one of those merc kiddies who spam my chat saying how they pwn me and im a noob BD etcetc, in those cases you just let your guns do the talking ;)

people who are really good dont need to tell everyone and constantly reassure themselves of their "leetness". i would be the first to admit i know alot about this game... however i wouldnt say i know everything and i am better than <insert name> unless i could prove it without a doubt (and then if i could what would be the point tellin everyone?)
I played on saturn and pluto extremely equal amounts. I would never dare call saturn a "noob" server by any means. However, in general, character setups are better on pluto, general skill level tends to be higher from what i've seen, but these differences are fairly minimal. The only large differences between saturn and pluto is that it is easy to find RP on pluto if that is your thing, and teamwork throughout battles is at its peak. If you don't really know what you are doing in PvP, you won't last long. I generally have made a lot more friends on pluto. Saturn, it is harder to talk to people, partially cause some are german :) The only strong points that saturn has in my opinion is higher population numbers and the ability to try different characters. But i think the topic starter really wanted to know why Pluto people say their server is "more hardcore" than saturn, and there is no way around it, when it comes to PvP, it is. As for the immature guys that call saturn a newb server, that's fairly moronic of them and I think anyone screaming on trade stuff like that shouldn't be taken seriously. As said by the mod, ignore is your friend.
Well, for all you people that like Saturn so much, I have a very simple test for you...
Go on the server during peak hours, get on faction channel and shout out that your faction HQ is under attack/under siege (Works best with large HQ factions like TH/MB/Canyon). After you shout that out wait and see how many responces you get.... I am playing a CM n00b on Saturn, a few times I spotted hostiles in MB area, so naturally being the nice little Plutonian that I am, I raise the alarm. I know for a fact that a whole bunch of CMs were online including a whole bunch of "101st"s (who according to many people are one of the "good" clans). What did I get? Well, the sound of the crickets was deafening. As in, no one responded and no one came. Not ONE person! That's out of a server that still peaks at about 250 runners. At least 15-20 of who have to have been CM (most likely more). I checked terms, there were around 10 "101st"s online.
Compared to that, I play FA on Pluto. If I or anyone else shouts out that there are enemies in TH if there are people online they will instantly respond. You'll get people asking for details as to who, where and how many. You'll get statements like "Phoenix has mobilized a team of 3". "I am coming, just waiting for SI". "Damn! Just as I GR'd out, be there in a minute guys!". "Engaging enemy, require backup, unable to contain threat". "On my way to die for our Haven!".
So many responces from pretty much every character. Most of them don't care about the fact that they are only 30/45 tradeskill spies. They would still come out and defend against enemy attack to the bitten end. It seems like Plutonians do not HAVE to have a PPU glued to their butt to come to a fight. Like they do not HAVE to have a capped character to come to a fight. And they do not HAVE to be able to win to come to a fight. A fight it about having fun, win, lose or draw. Saturnians won't do squat unless they know for a fact they can "pwnz0rz" their enemy. So they will only come with their capped alts (god forbid that they would attend an OP fight with their 30/55 tradeskill spy. Hell no. It has to be the 78/60 APU or some such). They will only come if they have a large number of PPUs or at least a few very skilled PPUs (because oh n0z! Heaven forbid that they'd lose). And they would only come if they can garantee that they can bring more allies than the enemy has. Because 20 beats 10 every day of the week. Especially if 5-8 of those 20 are PPUs.
Just my observation, but prove me wrong...
Try TG on Saturn if you want to see attackers fought off. The only time that enemies in the canyon will not be repelled is when there is a large scale OP fight going on and everyone is busy at the OP.

There are nasty idiots on Saturn. There are nasty idiots on Pluto. Heck, despite the seemingly nice atmosphere on Uranus there appear to be a fair share of nasty idiots there, too.
That's the thing with people, they're not all going to be nice. You can't say Saturn is the place where they have all decided to congregate, because that's just a plain lie. When I started out on Saturn, I met some very nice people; even now some TG are good to have a chat with in Plaza 1, and there are those you'd like to keep 10 miles away from you at all times.
I started out on Pluto, and I've never received so much crap at the beginning of any of my character's lives. I walked out of my apartment (to see Fenix I believe, but he was away :p), went towards a cave and got HLed from miles away by someone in the same faction as me. However, I asked for some help from some other faction members and they were nice as heck, even giving me some newbie items to start me out on.
My point is, no server is worse than another. They both have their fair share of nice people and downright nasty people. And if people want to talk about 'skills' on either server, start a character on Saturn/Pluto/Uranus/whatever server you don't play on and show everyone if you're that determined.
Also, having one fight and killing everyone is no overall display of skill for the entire server. That's like me getting a character, killing someone I've never met before on another server and claiming the entire server sucks because of that one person.

Pssst... hey, want in on a little secret? Those are the same twats on all the servers. Like yourself they just hop from server to server. I know for a fact that many twats on Uranus are the same twats from Pluto and many twats on Pluto are the same Twats from Saturn. So based on those, I'm sure we can make a reasonable assumption about the third link though I do not have proof that Uranus and Saturn share twats with each other.
And thing is, even though it's true that the twats are the same, there seem to be a lot more just generally dumb people on Saturn. Let me give you another example. A while ago I tried Saturn out for a bit. I made a crahn monk and after leveling enough in aggie cellars decided to make the trek to MB to resume my leveling at the bunker. I had removed my LE because I was APU and needed PPU support. As I left neocron there was a tank just standing there idling, I ran past him and up to the gogu to check my inventory one last time, all of a sudden I'm getting hit. I run, find a hiding spot and see that the tank is shooting at me. Now, to further elaborate, I was Crahn. The tank was neutral to me. Can't quite remember which faction, I think he was TT. Anyway, I ask him why he's shooting me, he says "enemy faction". I reply that yellow mean neutral, not enemy. To which he replies that TT is allied with CA and Crahn is CA's enemy. I was dumbfounded because that was at that time the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So I started giving him some examples involving for example the alliance between NEXT and FA which are enemies of TT. So does that mean that all NEXT should KOS FA AND TT because they're allied to both and both factions are enemies? Etc... And it took a good 10 minutes for that moron to finally catch the clue and leave me alone.
Moral of the story, I have yet to meet a dumber SOB on any other server. And that tank doesn't have the excuse of being a n00b because he was high level and in a clan. So he could have been a n00b but he has no right to act like one. :P
So you meet one dumb guy on Saturn, and that means the average intelligence of Saturnians is lower than that of other servers? :rolleyes:

A while ago I tried Saturn out for a bit. I made a crahn monk and after leveling enough in aggie cellars decided to make the trek to MB to resume my leveling at the bunker. I had removed my LE because I was APU and needed PPU support. As I left neocron there was a tank just standing there idling, I ran past him and up to the gogu to check my inventory one last time, all of a sudden I'm getting hit. I run, find a hiding spot and see that the tank is shooting at me. Now, to further elaborate, I was Crahn. The tank was neutral to me. Can't quite remember which faction, I think he was TT. Anyway, I ask him why he's shooting me, he says "enemy faction". I reply that yellow mean neutral, not enemy. To which he replies that TT is allied with CA and Crahn is CA's enemy. I was dumbfounded because that was at that time the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So I started giving him some examples involving for example the alliance between NEXT and FA which are enemies of TT. So does that mean that all NEXT should KOS FA AND TT because they're allied to both and both factions are enemies? Etc... And it took a good 10 minutes for that moron to finally catch the clue and leave me alone.
Moral of the story, I have yet to meet a dumber SOB on any other server. And that tank doesn't have the excuse of being a n00b because he was high level and in a clan. So he could have been a n00b but he has no right to act like one. :P

You probably see more annoying people on Saturn because there are far more people altogether, so there's more chance of a greater number of "1337 p33pz" crawling around the place than there would be on Pluto. If you could put it into percentages, I'm sure they would be roughly the same.
Not every single person who decides to be a twat on one server will immediately cross over and be the same on another. Every server has its own little population of them. A few decide to jump onto another server, most don't.

There is also the possibility that the MB raid was purely a diversion to try to get those 10 101st runners you mentioned to leave the CMA task force that was probably engaging the TG frontline forces at Blackhill or Tezla...
If you ever feel that 101st runners aren't protecting you in the MB and would like to complain then I'm always available to take your comments on direct chat - I will try to ensure you are aware of the bigger picture.

In all fairness the majority of Saturn players are exPluto players. For a long time Pluto was considered the immature server were you're likely to be ganked 10 times a day, where capped Tanks routinely run through the sewers chopping up new players, where a runner you see while out hunting is most likely there to kill you or steal your loot. It took a while but we managed to dump most of these players, wether they quit nc entirely or went to Saturn. For the most part Pluto is a much nicer place to live in now.
Neocron was honestly designed for multiple characters per player. Tradeskillers and other support characters like apu's and ppu's, are simply not meant to be played as your only character. A minority will of course still do this, because they're prolly masochistic. I'm not gonna go into why support characters have it so bad, I'm sure anyone who plays one could say. Would enjoy spending most of your time in Neocron doing research? Would you enjoy spending all of your time in Neocron following others while they do the killing? I don't mean spend a month or two, I mean your entire existance as this one char. People do that with combat characters all the time. It's not unusal to know someone who has been, say a Tank, since retail started. On the other hand it is really amazing to find someone who played a tradeskiller for this long. On pluto you could name some of the big constructors, people who devoted themselves to it. They're well known names because we appreciate them for doing what most of us couldn't. This is why so many plutonians have multiple accounts. We spent most of our time on Pluto and enjoy the community, we don't want to move to a 4char server. Yet with dwindling populations, we have to start making multiple characters to survive. Some make support whores so their main character can be pure combat. Others make multiple combat characters when one bores them too much.
I personaly did not play on Saturn for very long, only made it up to psi 50 or so on my Saturn Monk. Yet nearly everyone I have talked too, who moved to Saturn after having been on Pluto, has said the same thing. While there are certainly some skilled players, on average they find people much easier to kill on Saturn. I'm sure some of this is boasting, but it's repeated so often that you have to think about it. My hypothesis is this:
On a 1 char server that one character is who you spend most of your time as. On a 4 char server you spend time divided accross several characters. With only one character, I believe people tend to work harder on that character. Continualy trying to improve your character and how you play them. With multiple characters, you don't have the incentive to focus on one character. You can cap your Tank and have some fun, then start up Monk and give that a try. Maybe you'll play your Tank some, maybe you'll start up a Spy. I realize that some on 4 char servers do actualy concentrate on one of their characters. QD comes to mind for PE's, and as a result he's acknowledged as one of the better PE's in Neocron. On Pluto everyone is in this position, it creates such fierce competition that we're amazed when we go to Saturn. I recall a conversation with a few people who had just returned from Saturn. We were discussing ppu's on each server and in their experience the majority of ppu's on Saturn are secondary support chars. Their int is in research and/or their dex is in repair/recycle. On pluto we would call that ppu a Gimp and she would be relegated to the back while the real ppu's do their magic. That so many ppu's would gimp themselves and still claim they are the best in combat amazed me. I've done it before, taking up research or hacking for a short time, but I always knew I was vastly inferior to the other ppu's. Which woudl lead me to returning to full combat status so I could kick some butt again.
I don't want to offend the ppus on Saturn, this was at least a couple months ago : ) I'm sure since ppu's have become more prevalant there are more of you on Saturn who have uber ppu's now. In short my theory is that Pluto produces much fiercer competition and a drive to continualy improve yourself. On Saturn things are more layed back with people Generalizing their skills rather then Specializing on one class. Ofcourse there are exceptions, but I believe this holds for the majority of players.
seems the uranus server has the highest population of good chars, ive gimped myself playing to many chars and ive lost my ability to time and aim, but theres no doubt xantor is fucking good and so is voku/willy west, the only tank so far that can beat me so consistantly, since evileye.
im self confessed tho i cant fight pe's :p i dont know why, i just cant!

Yeah noticed it at fightnite of pluto last sat :D must admit i am the same with PE's and i don't think its just you lol a lot of tanks i see have a problem against a good PE i blame the slow run speed with ur gun out :D
back on topic: I like both pluto and saturn, pluto is where i started and will always be my home server wise, but one of the best friends i have online played on saturn :D the only thing I detest about saturn is the fucked up economy, if u have 3 mill on pluto u can buy something rare on saturn its peanuts and can buy sod all :(

Well, you misinterpret me a little bit. I didn't say that the entire server is stupid just because of that one stupid runner. It was just an observation of a bunch of negative experiences and no positive experiences yet.... (I've been playing on Saturn a lot in the past week). There's no interaction between players. The most I get is someone running up to me and asking if I want to join his clan, I usually decline so they run off. No "hi" no "bye" nothing. Kinda rude. When I tried to purchase something simple people demanded prices that a n00b could never find. It would take me like a whole month of harvesting cyclopses to make that much cash.
So basically lots of bad experiences and no good experiences leads to a very bad view of the server in general, you'd have to agree with me there.
Everyone just seems to be very greedy and antisocial on Saturn.

Ah, thanks for the info. Appreciate it. It's just it feels very odd that when I see 5 TGs storming the base and shout out about it on faction channel, there is no response at all. Now that you explain it I can understand why there wouldn't as much comotion as there is on Pluto due to single character per account, but at the very least a statement like "acknowleged, mobilizing troups to intercept" or "negative, raid is a diversion tactic" or something to that effect. Would actually make me feel about 20 times better about the server as a whole and the CM faction in particular.
You have to admit that the experiences I have described so far are not all that great.
Saturn has all the skill these days.
End of story. I watch fightnight on pluto now and then...and in all honesty....its a joke compared to some of the fights im in on Saturn.

I got sick and tired of going into PP and not being able to attack anyone cuz everyone that came in was a "buddy" of mine.
Saturn this doesn't happen. Plain and simple theres a fight wherever you go, people are assholes, the top players don't show themselves in public places too much, and its a shady neighborhood.
Way more fun that way.
If i wanna have a little happy friendly community ill go to the bar and chill with friends, in REAL LIFE! OMG OMG OMG!
With the exception of few, people on the internet can ALL get together and kiss my ass, im not looking for online friendships...and thats what pluto is about.

@gort - I've not noticed that. I have made "buddies" on Saturn no probs and have walked safely through PP fights where both sides were red to me because of it.
@Lareolan - I've recently moved a char from FA to CM on Saturn and what you say is FAR appropriate to FA than CM. I've seen 10+ CM (and allies) appear within 2-5 minutes to repel attackers several times in the last week. As Rith says they don't use faction chat because "Faction Chat" might as well be "Server Chat" on Saturn (and probably every other server too to some extent).

As usual I completely agree with Carinth.
When I tried to go back to my PE from my PPU, I noticed just how much I had lost in terms of PE skill while I had been gaining in PPU skill.
It seems, without killing my social life, I can't master PPUing and PEing at the same time.
Because of that, and the way the game currently works, I suck at Pistol PEs right now. (Well...okay... I don't suck, but I'm only about 50% the PE person I used to be ...if that...)
Problem is PPUs are more needed so the chances of me going back to my PE are slim-to-none.
KK don't intend to fix the problem just fuck the class up.

gort: i fight against my friends all the time on pluto. It's fun and I enjoy it. IMO it makes the fighting more competitive and better.
And as far as fight night being a joke, of course it won't be as intense as an actual balance, i didn't think that would need explaining. But you are right, there are more strangers on saturn, no doubt about it. But that was a turn off, not a turn on for me personally. Never know whose alt you are killing.

CRC was first active on pluto afaik, I forget the pe's name, The monk was demon-surge and the tank was Torque. Their bark was worse then their bite. They only got kills when they would camp people's apartments or killing people out of the gr's at TH. Then they'd sit in safe zones and act all arrogant, it was actualy pretty funny.
Their pe was the first person to ever use psi shield offensively on me. Despite having psi shield on, I still hurt him bad enough that he had to zone away : D

Its a fucking game for ffs. Some ppl will enjoy the life on saturn, ive always been saturn and im afraid apart from a few points like allies attacking, ive hardly ever seen any of the points raised about saturn and i am on everday after work.
I have a char on pluto but everytime i feel like playing it theres hardly any1 online and i prefer to see Trade etc goin nuts for whatever reason coz its FUNNY, this is why i play saturn.
The point im making is that it doesnt matter what server u play on, u can RP on em all, u can Random PK on em the only thing that makes them different is the people there.
Some people need to jump off the bandwagon and grab there own opinions and start having fun with the game instaed of sitting on whatever server proclaiming that X is better than Y

I don't really care if I am called a newb or not but I do have one take on things... Seeing how Saturn is a 4 char server and most people don't have 4 alts of the same class I would have to say that the player base of Saturn would be less newbish do to the fact that we know how to play all classes...

*COFF COFF* I'm not in a big clan :p my Monk is unclanned, my PE is in his own clan (death by chocolate), and I get into the unique situation, I dont get pk'd by Dark, nor FF, nor System Shock, nor System Shock International. Pluto was not open for UK Retail, so most of the people from Beta, ended up first playing on Saturn or Uranus (I started on Saturn myself) but we were just waiting for Pluto to open, when it did, a fair amount of the Beta players, moved over to Pluto. These were the same people that had spent a long time with PvP in Beta, and even Retail, and knew how to play the game.
Unfortunatly, a few also knew exploits, but they all got banned pretty quicky (the wolves for instance). So Pluto ended up with seasoned players, who already knew the insides and outs, so could power level to cap in a day or three, to get on with the PvP side of stuff. That was also the time Cyclop's launchers dropped lvl 3 implants mind you.
