Standby

How can i stop my pc from going into standby or letting my screensaver come up, because when i do all my processes stop and downloads finnish and programms close.
For example i keep signing in and out of messenger and its pissing ppl off :P

Right click your desktop
go to properties
go to screen saver (second tab)
go to power options (bottom of screen saver tab)

You can adjust the time from there. Hope this helps.

right click on desktop, - Properties, Screen Saver, turn it off :)

on same screen click Power and turn off the standby mode.

ok to stop your screen saver you right click on a free space on the desktop and choose properties.

then the screen saver tab

then use the drop down meue and set it to none.


to stop your pc from going onto standby

double click on my computer

select control panel

if using xp select classic view

double click on the power options icon

use the drop down meue and set it to never.

Nah i was updating this time so :p

I know im a n00b but i done all that i still keep signing in and out, and i dont have msblast.exe or any other virus unless my firewall and virus checker decieve me.
