First of all, I heared a long time ago back in Beta 4 that the engine was a modified Unreal engine.

Is it?

Is it an engine you designed?

Is there plans in the future to update the game engine?

there are two engines in the game though I don’t think ether one is the unreal one.

one is for indoors one is for outdoors and they are both heavily modified from the original.

the indoor one has been moved on for doy and now bares little resemblance to the original.

well hope I got that right.

before you ask it would take a ridiculous amount of time to re model zones in neocron because it would have to be modeled from scratch. They have better things to do with there time right now.

edit: to add a bit

yep there will be bugs in it that need sorting + they want to put a new water effect in.

An official responce from developers would be apreciated.

Im just wondering about it.

The engine used is the Genesis 3D engine, heavily modified (outdoors) and inside, is NC's own engine. Or maybe its the Tekktonik engine inside, hmm, something like that, anyway, its Open Source.
