As some of you know, we are currently running Live Runs. These runs are interactive role-play experience where Gamemasters play the parts of NPC's. This allows for a much more unique experience and the chance to adjust the runs based on the skill of the group of players playing them.
We received many applications for players to participate in Live Runs and we have not run nearly as many runs as applicants.
We did mention it would be a slow process and we're ready to ramp this process up
We want a fresh list of applicants to call on - so if you haven't applied yet - you can do so in this thread.
Here is the info from the original thread, and some new info after it:
We will be selecting different player groups from this list and contact the players in-game. Please keep in mind though, that we will probably not be able to supply all players with those runs. It may take some time until you get a Job offer. Player groups who already did a Job will be moved to the end of the list, and have the possibility to get a new job after some time.
When we are ready to execute a Live Run, we will contact you in-game and ask you to get a team together.
Here are some rules that will need to be followed during those runs:
- OOC (Out-Of-Character) Talk in any form is strictly forbidden. None of the NPCs will react to OOC talk, and may even abort the run if this should get out of hand.
- Should a run degrade into senseless fighting, we will put a stop to it.
- Should certain player groups disturb the runs in a massive way and/or repetitively, they may suffer certain consequences.
We need the following information from you:
Character Name
Server
Please don't use this thread to talk about the idea - and simply list the names of those characters that YOU PLAY that you wish to participate. You can submit as many of your own characters as you like (just list them after each other - make sure to include the server of all of them. If you have the same character name on more than one server, treat them as seperate characters) but bear in mind that we will only allow you to play a run once before we give other people a chance.
An example post would look like this:
Chandler Bing - Saturn
Joey Tribbiani - Pluto
Rachel Green - Saturn
Monica Gellar - Uranus
Ross Gellar - Uranus
That's all the information we need.
IMPORTANT: I will be keeping a close eye on this thread. I won't hesitate to delete and edit posts so I can keep the list clean and easily accessible for us. This will help you in the longrun as it means we won't be missing names out by mistake. If you see I've edited a post of yours in this thread - it's for a reason - don't change it back :)
SELECTION PROCESS:
We will select applicants on a first come, first served basis depending on if they are online with one of thier characters on a server we are running at the time we look.
This means we won't wait for the first person on the list to run before moving to the next person - if that person is not online when we are ready to go - we will move to the next person and so on until we find someone who is available.
We will try to run these runs at different times of the day to give all players a good chance of being selected.
If we contact you and you are unable to arrange to run at that time, we will move down the list and keep your name on it.
EXISTING LIST:
This is a complete list of players who completed the last application thread and who are still on the list. If you see your names on this list, there is no need to apply again. If you have characters you would like to add, just post a new message in this thread. Likewise if you see characters here you no longer play - just comment in this thread, and I will remove them (and your comments once I've done that :P).
We want everyone to have a good time doing this - so good luck - Live Runs are hella exciting and great fun.
