apparently, there has been complains about the techno term, master/slave, like a hard drive can be master, or slave (not the S&M term that involves whips, chains and bambi) political correctness gone mad, mad I tell you :p

So, if you could rename Master/Slave in a technical term, what would you rename it too?

…in this province we have what are called "language police." Public signs

owner was threatened with legal action because his bird was unable to
converse in French/parrot. The case made it to the courts before some sane
judge threw both the plaintiff and the lp's out on their collective a$$es. I

That is very true.

In Quebec they actually have guys with accurate rulers going around
supermarkets making sure the French is the biggest writing on all the
products.

I remember a while back a guy in an English speaking Quebec township had a
huge fine and all his posessions repossed by the Govt then auctioned off
because he had a "Come in we're Open" sign on his gas station that didn't
have French text.

Personally I find it all pretty hilarious that they are so insecure over
their "culture" that they need to pull things like that. I just wish it
wasn't partly funded by the federal Govt.

While that would seem obvious, it doesn't work. For example, I have a Primary Master, Secondary Master, and a slave. It wouldn't work being a primary primary, secondary primary, and secondary.
