View Full Version : .BIN to MPEG and other questions
Ok, I need to extract an MPEG video out of a .BIN file.
i've tried ISOBuster, but whatever I try in that program it says 'this file is corrupt' or some shit like that when i try and run the extracted file.
does anyone know how to get an MPEG from a .BIN?
second question: can anyone tell me the name of a video editing software that can change the speed of the a mpeg but keep the movie smooth? and add a new audio track?
thanks in advance

Have you tried winISO? It's what I use when I need to get stuff from/make an ISO... Works for me :)

Virtual Dub

VCD gear produced a mpg
WMP told me it 'encountered an unknown error' when i ran the file
but VideoLAN runs it fine (that thing with run ANYTHING you throw at it anyway)

If it was what i think it was your gonna need a dvd player to view it. Hence the error you got when you tried it in windows media, i suggest you get windvd or something similar.
isobuster works but you have to chose to "extract but filter only M2F2 video frames" for it to work.

daemon tools is the win
dont have to burn anything if u have daemon tools, havent burned a cd in lik ea year....
ISO Buster and WinISO are the best programs out there.
Most of the times errors are caused on retarded human errors.
Bin files require .CUE files to read them.
If you didn't load the CUE file, the BIN Iso Buster gives you a corrupt error.
Be sure to load the .cue
that bin is probably an illegal dvd rip right?
.cue files aren't really needed for .bins actually though some programs do error without them. You might find it easier to burn the .bin to CD and then copy the MPEGs off the disk if you want to edit them.
Delloda - Nid is gonna hammer your sig ;)
i have the .cue and .bin
i have tried filtering the frames (that worked in the old version of ISObuster, but now it doesnt )
Use a program called Alcohol 120% for the Bin and Cue files.
are you trying to convert the bin to mpg? or extract the bin's contents?

just mount the image with daemon tools and copy the file and paste it on your hdd ... simple, no ?

tried, i got parameter incorrect :(
Some bins have a protection on them where you can only burn them and not extract or mount them.
Whats also funny is that they only show up on files released by warez groups/vcd traders.

sounds like the bin is either corrupt or has some sort of code on it
