Alright, with the latest interview with MJS, he mentioned hacknet...
Hackers rejoice.
My question however, has nothing to do with hacknet. It does however, deal with recycling.
Is there any planned change to this tradeskill? Or is it now there simply to mule ammo?
Perhaps it can be used to get weapon/item/rare parts back when a weapon is recycled...
There's so many possible niceties... I simply hope one of them might come true.
Please, a response simply stating "Recycling is being worked on" or any sign that it hasn't been forgotten would be appreciated.
I think recycle is low down on the list of priorities at the moment. I'd like to see it reqorked too, but it seems to be nothing but PvP things that get any attention at the moment. :(

Remove the damn thing along with vehicle skill :O
I like the idea of recycling Rare weapons for parts.
ANd keep Vehicle skill.

Well, I hope all tradeskills are up there in prioirity, because they're quite gimpy at the moment.

hell if i had a rare and it was 0/0 and i got 3 of the parts back (say out of 6) i would be more then happy! and pay 200k for this server at least

The amount of recycling skill needed to nearly perfectly salvage a weapon/rare (That is, get all parts except one back), would be dependant on how broken the weapon is (Or, to put it differently, how much of it's maximum condition is left).
If a weapon is still 120/120, you'd just need a skill equal to the TL of the item to get nearly all your parts back, while if it was like 60/60 it'd need the TL times 1.5, while if it's completely wrecked (0/0), it'd need twice the TL to get nearly all your parts back.
Few examples, in a neat table:

The actual formula would be:
Skill needed for 5 parts = TL * ( 1 - Max Condition / 120 + 1)
