Hi,
I have this weird problem, which I think is associated with my ATI Radeon 8500 card. Basically, I'll just be wandering around in the wastelands mostly, and then at a certain spot, my comp will freeze, but instead of just regular black screen, I get this screen with all these vertical lines of all different colors. I have to restart my comp everytime, and when I try to get back into nc, I get the same thing, until I get on my other comp and move the char from that spot.
I tried screwing around with bios, changing drivers, changing resolution, and changing all the settings on my ati driver menu.
All to no avail.
My system specs:
AMD Athlon 1700+
512 MB PC 2100 RAM
Soltek kt266 mobo(forgot the exact model name, heh)
Ati Radeo 8500
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer(or something like that)
400 W power supply.
7200 rpm WD hd.
Refresh rate is @ 75, but I tried other rates.
