IRC & Neocron?

Is there any such thing as a IRC channel officially used by Neocron? Or even a hosted IRC server? Either of those would be really neat. If not, is there any interest in starting a channel (or even a server, if anyone is willing to host it) to increase the community feeling, either with or without Neocron officials?
