Some Games out of the PS1 Pack complain about saving on PS2 memory cards, my question is simple :p
Does PS1 Memory cards with with PS2s?
Do the PS1 Games which DONT save to PS2 Memory cards save to PS1 Memory cards in a PS1?
Cuz trying to complete FFIX in a single sitting without dying isn't something I'd like to try ;)

Ty :p
I still think it's lame that something is backwards compatible but doesn't work with anything other than the original peripherals...
Afaik they had done t that way as a security feature......didnt work very well;)
PS1 games need PS1 cards
Pads are interchangable between the consoles
the multi-taps ARE NOT though
games which i know have compatibility problems:
MGS: works until after the ending credits then crashes, save and complete on a PS1)
MGS:SM doesnt work, well at least i can get it to work.
C&C sometimes works, sometimes doesnt. not too sure about that.
MGS does look sweet with the texture smoothing on though
the PS2 memory cards use MagicGate security iirc, and save games as kb, rather than set size 'slots', hence they cant take PS1 games
