I think the dmg/rof/aiming/range stat caps for guns and shit should be removed because there is no real reward for being fully capped (more so with a monk) since you can cap everything pretty low level.... plus itd give some real advantage to the ppl who are actually really high lvl and got the best of everything... :/ just a thought.. flame away

Tanks cant realistically cap a freaking CS ROF/Aim

APU's can PISS EASY cap their main spell which is a holy lightning, you SERIOUSLY want to see a holy lightning going upto like 800% ?!?

heh what will make it funnier is that my far from capped PPU already more than caps holy shelt/def/heal heh, would be nigh on invincible if i had higher damage percentages on them :P

hmm yea those are some valid points but if this would work they would need to do some balancing.... but then again who wants to leave balancing up to KK?

How about just remove caps on heavy weapons to make kami chip viable? At least I think it might be viable... would have to try it first. Would be nice having a higher RoF on a malediction and spamming it everywhere.

Lafiel, Are you talking about letting the actual quality of the weapon's stats exceed 120% while keeping the actual damage %, aiming %, range and RoF caps the same? Or are you proposing actually increasing the damage %, aiming %, range, and RoF caps?

I wouldn't mind seeing the stat caps on weapons be increased, but I think the only way to get higher than the current damage %, etc. caps should be to toss a kami in.

Well, for the time being, until I'm told otherwise, I'm going to assume that Lafiel meant the stat caps on the weapons themselves.

For those of you who don't know this, the higher a stat value on a weapon, the easier it is to cap the attribute that goes with that stat. For instance, if you have a 100% damage stat Pain Easer, it's going to take a hell of a lot more points in R-C than a 120% damage stat Pain Easer to get the damage output to 178%. But you still can't exceed the 178% damage. So why do people have problems with that? Weapon specialization has killed a lot of the fun in the game already. This might just add some of it back.

Lafiel, PLEASE RESPOND with what exactly you are looking to raise the cap on. Weapon stats or damage%, etc. caps.

i was referring to the actualy dmg/rof/range/handling values not the stats(IE: keep the 120% cap) i just want to see some more viable setups and such... to try and get away from this cookie cut setups :/
