Ok so I am sure some guys have some cool toys
What do you think would be a cool group of toys

I know guys that use the following

Strategic Game Commander
TeamSpeak - using mikes
Dual Monitors - Window Mode with Multi accounts

What do you think gives you an edge

My clan experimented with team speak.
Whilst for small groups it helps.
It can easily become confusing.

Clan/text chat is much more clear cut and clean.
So in the end, we reverted, well...most of us.

TS is still a nice social thing though :p

I have no edge, my AGP is 2 times, my RAM is 100Mhz and I use a Celeron. Its a known fact, if I beat anyone, they totally and utterly suck, if they beat me, its lag *g* (then I send Kyle after them, then they die, bloody kids   )

TS is cool, but i prefer ventrilo, it really helps at op wars so u dont hve to stop fighting to talk to people, and if ure dead u can still talk to people, but MSN can do that

SXR use voice comms, definitely saved out bacon a few times.

I have a duel monitor setup but I use it to browse the boards.

I love ventrilo way more than team speak.. i used vent for a year playing wolfenstein with my clan then in neocron the clan is using Team Speak. It isn't nearly as clear and if your neocron crashes which is quite often then the teamspeak gets messed up so I have to restart my team speak as well.

Pain in the ass it is..

New dawn always use TS. It is much more useful then clanchat or buddy chat as you do not need to stop what you are doing ingame to speak. It is also very easy to see clans that use ts and ones that don't in op wars purely because of the organisation you get with it

Like QD said, TS is good for socialising and in small groups but with large numbers of people it can get very confusing or laggy.

Still use it though. ;)

We use Ventrilo, its not nearly as "laggy" as TeamSpeak, also Vent is alot clearer when being compared to TS. But thats just a personal preference.

Dual monitor defiantly helps, as does Team speak. The Nostromo game pad is just personal preference. I find it doesn’t have enough buttons for Neocron.

Teamspeak.

I kick ass with just a plain old PIII 450 Mhz, with nothing else special about it.

Fear the Folsom!!

Disclaimer: Part of the above statement is a blatant lie, it's up to you to figure out which part.

Have you tried the new one? 14 buttons on top, the mouse wheel clicks, a button above the errrr...axial controller? Whatever it is:p and one button by the base of your thumb. 17 buttons in all and with the colour shifts you add 3x that. Its an awesome piece of hardware. ;)
