This is from the Test Server Patch 218 notes. I think that most of the rifles have very nice clip sizes and these two changes are an excellent idea. The First Love definitely needs this so how about we get the same change for the CS ?

i think a CS could do with a clip increase.

Anything to make tanks better. After all they are supposed to be pure fighting class unlike every other class.

How about letting tanks fully cap CS?
lol - fine. increase pain easer clip sizes too. no, wait - leave CS and easer clip sizes alone and learn to live with what u got.

fully capping CS wouldnt do bad, altough thats optional, a bigger clip on a cs would be nice, but still not a 100% necesarry, this wouldnt change alot on tanks, as long as even a PE has better defenses with he's psiskill and heals about 400 times faster... tanks need a overall major boost, KK didnt touch tanks in months (except for the PA change, like every class, WOW cool *sarcasm*)
Now all other chars got so many new toys and boosts etc that tanks have got behind, thats all, they need to give em COOWL stuff, and new bones, an eye, etc, the 2 new tankrares are a beginning but they wont pull the tank out of the dark hole its in now.
The FL needed a clip increase badly, so im veery happy with that, 40 is more then enough, i would be happy with 20 instead of 16 even, but 16 is a bit to less :)

The Clip size increase helped the Liberator alot, enjoy extra ammo fun :) The CS with a bigger clip might not be a bad idea but maybe wait and see how the de-nerfing of HC agility effects the tank before you fiddle with other things, or at least give it some serious testing.

ammo pack size != gun clip size
Plasma rifles now got a clip size of 20 if im right. Doesnt actually help the FL, the Disruptor still is WAY better.

Do the plasma rifles have 40 round clips? I thought it said ammo PACKS, as in their packs are now the same size as plasma cannons, with 20 in a clip?

if you want clip sizes fixed may i suggest the 15clip laser cannons. which fire 2 rounds and always end with i spare round.

Pulse laser pistols have this same problem. 40 round clip, 3 round bursts.

only way to fully cap cs is tank kami.
btw. cs-mag already GOT increased, it was 10 shots in beta 4 and early retail.

This change translates to only one more CS "burst" per clip before you have to reload. It's not 40 shots between reloads. You would have 5 bursts compared to the present 4 bursts.

40 shots to a clip, 4 shots to a burst, 40 / 4 = 10 bursts....
Anyway its not mag size its ammo pack size as drib et al already mentioned....

You forgot to take into account that each ammo pack loads 2 clips...thus, 5 bursts not 10.
