I thought I'd make a post to find out who plays Neocron and where at and maybe you'll find some people who play near you that you never knew about
(or maybe you'll find out that TT spy that keeps snipering you is your girlfriend o.0 not that that's ever happend to me)
So I'll start, I live in: Port Charlotte, Florida, United States
Omaha Ne USA in the middle of fucking nowhere
I live in Frenches Forest, Sydney, Australia and play from home, used to be able to slip in a bit of playing at the office but we now have a firewall via HO in China and that put an end to that!
Live in Spruce Grove Alberta Canada an at home. Average 210 ping on my 1 meg connection aswell. Spruce is by Edmonton BTW.

WTF! Imagine that! During the summer I live at home, which is in Santa Clara in California. Same region as Spectra and the other two he mentioned. During the school year though I live on campus at a state university in Los Angeles.
I live in Valencia, California. Beautiful place to live. Ever wonder where they got "Valencia Orange" from when they put it on the Orange soda label? :D Anyways... My ping sucks ass, averages 240-260 :(

I personally know over 10 players playing this game from Toronto area, some retired some not...plus I know there are alot more too based on forum sigs, irc chatting and the like.
On my dsl line I ping 120-130, on my cable usually 190-200.
Either way its unacceptable...but what are you going to do. Every other MMORPG I ping under 50, but KK doesn't seem to believe in zoned servers. Oh well....less customers makes the game better right? :rolleyes:

LVirus and moregore both live in the same town as well and another player I met IRL live like 30mins drive from here.
On days, I usually play from home but sometimes on my free weekend, I go to LV to play games on LAN.

As far as I know, I am the only person within 500 miles [except those in Canada] who have ever heard of Neocron... That may be an exaggeration, but I highly doubt it. [Okay, so I mediumly doubt it ... but you get the point!]

Chic0 we all know we dont live in the worsts pits of the planet, we just having a laugh poking fun at the problems our areas have, you may have it a lot worse than us in england, but our problems are still as valid and we like to have a laugh about our problems cos i guess only a global scale there not that major, but its still something we see every day
