I think I'm anticipating the arrival of the next Deus Ex (http://www.dxinvisiblewar.com/) far more than HL2, and I think its gonna be out within a few weeks even. So how bout it, which game are you anticipating more?

I can't wait for Deus Ex 2 to come out. The first Deus Ex is my most favorite game ever and I've been waiting for Deus Ex 2 to come out for like years.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga is the greatest fucking game ever. It's just been released, so if you don't buy, I give you a face stabbing. And you deserve a face stabbing, because it's so funny! Luigi is gold! I still laugh when I look at my passport photos.
Halo 2 and Gotham Racing 2 (The later being released on my birthday.. woo).
sure deus x single player will kick half-lifes ass but im looking forward to the hl2 mods. Like counter-strike an natural selection an the specialists for hl2. AN especialy bushido blade. Plus all the new mods that will come out 4 it.

Deus Ex 2 is supposed to b the game that changes everything, but i dunno if thats good or not, definatly want it morethan HL2 though HL2 comes 3rd on my most wanted list. 2nd placa being Fallout 3

Indeed, these two need to be shot.
Deus Ex is like the best game ever, i've probably beat that game 20 times and every time I play it i never do it the same way. Thats why it was awesome, you could take like so many different routes to complete missions and discover new stuff even after beating it a couple times.

Um... You forgot the "Both" option! If I had two grandmothers still alive, they would already be sitting in the window of a pawn shop wondering how they got there and where their tea went so I could get the cash for these games!
Out of the two? Half-Life 2 without a doubt, but it's like trying to decide between being given 50 million quid in fivers or in tenners - one looks as pants-tentingly good as the other! :)
deus ex was a damn great game.. hope they dont fuck up deus ex 2 by letting it glide away from the oh-so-good atmosphere deus ex had.

My favorite Deus Ex route I played was the pistol/hacker who went the entire game without killing people on the hardest difficulty. :) If you haven't played a char like I would highly recommend it it's definitely the most fun.
I'd also definitely recommend people to play Deus Ex 1 if they haven't already. It's worth checking out.

Damn, but... wow... it just looks so FUCKING realistic! Plus those huge battle scenes in that preview video... I may not like shooter games, but holy schmoly, that's just so good-looking and immersive.

That's gotta be the Agressive Defense system. You know, the one that detonated incoming rockets? That completely pwned!
And who can forget the first time in the MJ12 HQ in Hong Kong, oooooohhhh, what amazing map design hongkong had. The maps for that game were completely awesome.

I played Alpha Centuri/Alien Crossfire, SimCity all the way up to 3000 (waiting for SimCity 4, it looks so farking sweet), Myst up to Exile (I got Uru, but it won't work on laptop). Of course, there's always Neocron.

about the stalker game: link posted a bit back in this thread: look at the screenie's LOL its seems photorealistic, i saw a sunrise: like real and if you see at the hands holding the gun ya see the (i dunno the word in english) the little lines in the hand that everybody has, and the nails like real, it seems extremely realistic, looks like youre playing in somekind of old warmovie, looks good :) very good, graphicwise that is

If theres anything worth buying, its the System Shock series and Deus Ex. I just hope Deus Ex 2 will be good. Im thinking it will be too short....:(
I dont know why people loved Half-Life, theres nothing special about it from the older games.

I think the big difference here is that Deus Ex has a deep story to begin with whereas most games have a shallow plot hence leading to an even shallower story.

One of the best things about deus ex was it's story line.
yeah the film will b cool, but u'll never guess who they're number one to play JC is...Eminem, and b4 u start, eminem IS a good actor, but a bit scrwany for JC i think.

Sorry, I am an old Half-Life guy. And to be fair you should have posted screenies of HL2. But alas, I am prolly gonna play them both anyway, along with Doom 3 of course. I just hope they all have new content that makes the environment real like HL 1 did for so many thousands of us computer-geeks.

A good actor? He isn't acting stupid, he is stupid. I wish I could complain about my life into a microphone and get paid for it. And to anyone who says that's talent, its not. If he played all the music on his tracks (which isn't hard either, I've done it too) then maybe I could respect his "talent" more, but as far as rhymes go, anyone with a 9th grade education could spit those words out just like he can. god yes.. that would kick ass. I have the full cataloge of Square games on the PSX (All of the UK release ones anyways) and Front Mission was one of the best non-Final-Fantasy ones.

True first person shooters tend to have a pretty lose plot of why your killing people. though in neocron i never needed a reason anyways. LOL

Its really a wonder why System shock never got a spot light in holy wood...if you where going to make a sci-fi horror film...system shocks plot is about as scary as it gets. its story is brillent and told in the most innovative way that no other game has gone close. you dont have cut scenes...you have the vivid screams of citadel station's last inhabitants showing it to you...off their corpses of course.
that and SHODAN is perhaps the greatest PC Villian ever...if at all time...i mean, there is doctor doom, the joker, and the king pin...but underneath them...is SHODAN. ;)

Dues Ex and Leasure Suite Larry could be good...definately worth trying.
Half life 2 is just more hyped up crap, boring. If it doesn't cost me 10$/month to play, im not interested....all you half life junkies can enjoy being kicked out of servers because you head capped some cranky 11 year old admin. Ill enjoy life to the fullest without that kind of shabby treatment, thank you very much.
The Demo is out, find it in FilePlanet....sigh
