I have a sore throat and it's killing me. Besides over-the-counter medicine, do you guys know any natural remembies or such to at least sooth the pain or make it bearable?

It's called alcohol. Get reeeeaaaalllllyyyy wasted and you wont give a **** how sore your throat is =)

I don't usually take medicines unless I'm hitting a migrene. Only on those times I take painkillers :\

Stupid hospital and over-dosing my morpheine when I was young *sigh* talk about an addiction to painkillers :P

also keep your fingers out of your mouth and wash your hands every time before you get ice for your drink, or eat food. ;)

the sheer ammount of times I wash my hands a day has kept me sore throat free for the past 10 years.

If you going for the alcohol ( which can help the pain not the problem ) be sure too keep warm while under its influence. And id also recommend taking the alcohol warm IE. tea with some dark rum.
