N.E.X.T. sign at RaceTrack

What's the purpose of that sign?
It's hackable, but remains locked. Its onmouseover label is VHC control interface (or close enough)... so what's the deal? Were we intended to be able to hack ourselves a free ride? hehe

And anyway, that hackable thingie seems to be a bug. And no, hacking a sign wouldn't give rides, no (you'd have to hack the garage, rather.) But perhaps, that hackable sign either gives you a secret port into NetHack where you can run around roughshod a little while longer than you could from a cityterminal...

That or if you're desperate for some wirejunk pieces, you can hack and turn off the security chassis then pull out some pieces :P

One final thought... you know the MB and the BYB? Well, there could be a similiar secret at the racetrack, only you won't know about it because you're only one person, right at the hack terminal, and the door opens on the other side of the racetrack for like 5 seconds or something.

Well aparently an Old myth was there is more than 1 BYB :eek:
