anyway to run IRC (and get to #neocron) with most IRC shit blocked? also when i dl MIRC etc it refuses to install (FUBAR PC lol) so it would have to be a html client i guess

Hmm.. most html versions are actually a java applet that loads in your browser. The applet itself is a IRC client, so if it's blocked off it will not work either.

I don't know if there are any services/webpages where you can let the webpage "act" as the IRC client (i.e. you send text to the webserver/webpage and then it relays it to a IRC server, and that it the other way around also displays what is said in the IRC channel through the webpage and html).

Had this problem in school a while ago, someone said to find the open ports that irc uses and that aint blocked, dunno much bout ports n stuff tho
