How should a pistol PE configure his PSI?

Say i'm capped (which i VERY nearly am) in PSI on my PE.

What should be the the areas i specalise in.

I would like numbers, say PPU 25 PPW 20 etc please

ppu ppw and mst are the areas you want to specialise in. apu is a waste of time for a pe. :p

oh you knew that already..... why not have fun looking at the various set ups you can acheive and see what spells you can use. Prepower armour days (jus as a start for you) pes could use blessed deflector pretty well. Im not gonna sit here and give you exact values as that takes the fun out of it. go experiment man.

Standard PE setups are 68 PPU and 43 MST Rest in PPW
Or
75 PPU and 50 MST and 22 in PPW.

look at the spells, you'll see why.

sadly it's hardly worth going over 75 PPU unless you are a pistol pe with a lot of PSU...

Actually its not worth it at all unless you WANT to waste points.

3 points in psi power give more % to your spells then 1 point in PPU, after 75....

75/50/22 only way to go...regardless of how much psi use you have in int.

The more psi use, the less waiting to fully buff yourself...and the more effective psi shield is, if you choose to use it.

i can stealth away and buff me fast... when i cant cast def with PA i must first take it of wich cost time...

and time is rare in op fights ;)

I wasn't a happy camper that fight..
I don't like calling allies to fight one clan ...but when they attacked 12 vs 5(6) it was a little unfair...

It was funnier first round down there (my first round), 1 PPU + 1 PE (SSC) vs 1 PPU + 5 PEs (Syn) - SSC Won O.o

But we couldn't beat the zone camping/APU Spam that came just after while we were all on watch (Talking to Rando about giving his judge back) :rolleyes:

So when we got pwned we asked for a lil help :p

I didn't know Ronins and Syndicate were allied... seems odd to me since Ronins were offering SSC an alliance/cease fire last I knew...(Against syn)

Was....well....pwned when you and synchs turned up :p

Syndicate I guess..
SSC don't really endorse PKing, even though we're openly KoS to Syndicate (because besides the fact that some syn don't want to fight SSC at all, we can't ever tell if they're going to fire or not and not shooting normally means we get killed by people who like to take advantage of that), sigh.........

Syndicate are the current "new black"
they're the uranus version of FF I guess, if I had to draw comparisons... I think anyway....not really sure what FF "are like" just what I've heard which is probably not all true but nevermind.

uTs might have you if you talk to them, Synchs might have you if you talk to 'em, SSC would have you but that means no real PK :P

Ronins are also a decent clan though, I doubt AngelDust endorces PKing...so i ain't sure mate.

UnderWorld are a decent Tangent clan if they still exist.
FLUX are a decent Black Dragon Clan not sure what their stance on things are now.

That's about it I think for the "big clans" left on uranus (well RDZ, but not sure what they'd say about it either)...

At op fights your gonna have PPUs anyway with group buffs but meh I guess.

My PE is for dueling only so I guess I have a biased setup.

so why should i besiege the PPU when i can do it by myself?

our clan hasnt many PPUs [most of the time we dont need them], and their job is to support the tanks & monks... sometimes a heal for the PE... but thats all

As I said, I know better then to bring a pistol pe to an op war. I bring a monk. My pistol pe stays in NF.

PEs are about as usefull as a hickory stick at an op war these days, especially pistol pes...so I dunno why im bothering with this argument.

Its your choice, but I would never take a WORSE character setup (aka more then needed MST) for the sake of convenience....or all 4 of my chars would be pokers and shit at pvp.

even with deflector he lays fast

i think that i make ENOUGHT op fights to know wich class i should get for... and an unfreezed PE is as dangerous as a APU in the right hands

what do u do in PP when ur deflector run off and the other fights with a FRC/PRC weapon? ask ur enemy to stop shooting cause u must buff urself?

Just an FYI Kiddo, while it is true my PPU is more useful at an op fight than my Pistol PE, my Pistol PE is far from useless.

While it is true MOST Pistol PEs can't kill a PPU Alone, I can.

While it is true MOST Pistol PEs are total morons that depend on shelter to keep their asses alive, I don't.

While it is true MOST Pistol PEs die the instant they get parashocked, I don't.

Generally speaking, Pistol PEs are not "useless."

They're just not as useful as could be.
