640 x 480 x 16

Any idea where i can adjust the video settings for neocron to 640 x 480 x 16? Doesn't seem to be in the options menu.

why the FUCK would you wanna do that, the resolution makes no difference to FPS atall in my experience, it just makes the RPOS obscenely huge and unmanagable aswell as shoddy graphics o_O

Hold down the shift key while loading neocron.

Cause the in-game video recording program i'm using requires it to be that resolution.

you always get this kinda comment when you ask how to do a lower res on something . ..but they never stop to consider if it's a program that requires it . .or *GASP* they might LIKE huge grahpics and such .. I used to use tv out and if i ran any higher than 640x480 it made it hard to read the text unless i was right up on the screen . . . I"ve been at my friends house who runs some insanely high res .. .and had to squint my eyes to read some of the chat messages on the games he plays :rolleyes:

there's also a place in one of the INI files where you can change it manually (i think it's neocron.ini)

LOL for meh i couldent bare to have anything less than 1280x960.

its da pwn and i lub its sharpness!!

also i always get a steady framerate of 65 to max 71.

lower in some areas :)

feh. I love windowed mode, with nc running in 1024x768 so i can chat with people and play nc....kinda multitask. Since it's a dual processor, i'll usually be rendering something in lightwave too...

yeah, i run 1280x1024 for a bit more of a "widescreen" approach. This way, i'm able to have enough space on the wide part of my screen to accomodate lots of stuff, but without upping my res to 1600x1024 and get everything itty bitty. ^_^

I like to run at 1600x1200 in every game, unless it gives me really bad FPS.
