(NP) Tsunami Syndicate Officials are not stating how much the total damages will run after a party ran amok in Pepper Park. "It started out as just fun stuff," one passerby stated "then some of the fights got pretty bad, when a CopBot stepped in to stop it, it got torn down... It was frickkin' awesome!” It has been reported that the entire event transpired after small time faction fighting "got boring" for those involved. The NCPD stated that initial losses were minimal and replaced with ease and were not altogether uncommon for that particular sector.
Club Veronique security however was not able to replace their ranks so easily. According to one of the bartenders; a large number of people ran into the club as soon as NCPD hover-eyes arrived on scene outside. "This group looked kinda' different" the bartender reflected, "I don't know if these guys were the ones fighting outside, or bystanders; but they looked mean.”
"For awhile, they were just drinking and singing - almost like they had forgotten that most were enemies, when one of our bartenders sent the tab to a City Administration GenTank, he was whacked in the face with a baseball bat!” At that time the club security stepped in, requesting that the group of people leave. Evidently the group was not satisfied with that idea.
Roughly twenty-nine club bouncers and an unreleased number of bartenders and pimps were killed, before the main body of the group left. Afterwards, lone runners continued to make life for Tsunami Syndicate workers difficult.
As the group spilled out onto the street, NCPD officials were waiting. "We were confident our Copbots could handle them - we were ... a bit ... over ... confident." the scene commander stated. "Although a number of the rioters were killed, an unregistered Crahn Psi-monk revived them." When asked why the term 'rioter' was used, the scene commander simply said, "They were pissed, they were violent."
