Dear friends and foes,
due to the happenings in the last few days, we, the
-Untouchables- on Uranus, will stage an event on sunday,
november the 11th.
We keep being called "lamers" for having our allies assist us in
OP-wars and thus bringing a high number of fighters. The
disussion arround the dependance on PPU-monks also gets
people into a bad mood.
We want to have a fight, for MC Pherson factory, one of the
outposts we are holding at the moment.
Depending on the amount of -uTs- members that's available on
sunday, we will form several strike-teams of even size. Team -uTs-
will defend the OP, every other team may attack us twice. (Not all
teams at the same time, one after the other ;)).
Each team may consist of tanks, PEs and/or spies. Right, monks
are not allowed to take part.
Each team, that manages to beat us twice, gets a prize of
500.000 Creds/member.
The ones who die during the fight are not allowed to release.
There'll be an arbiter PPU-monk who rezzes the dead, after the
fight of course. No one's allowed to bring vehicles, the use of
stealth is also forbidden.
If any of the teams takes advantage of whatever the arbiter
considers unfair, they get banned from the event.
It's about fun, teamplay and fairness here.
If we encounter major disturbances of any kind, the event will be
cancelled.
All participants meet at outzone subway station, we don't want
spectators during the fight to maintain a decent bandwidth and
fps for the fighters.
All monk's asses that show up, excepted the arbiter's one, will
get KOSed :p
If anyone has questions about the event, feel free to post em
here. Those who want to take part, please post your clanname
and the amount of runners you can bring. Every clan may only
bring 1 team.
Oh and please, don't post any silly rants here.. Thanks ;)
There might be phrases and terms in the above, that you could
call grammatical or orthographic mistakes. Those terms are not
mistakes, they're part of my unique language-style.

Also - that looks like a sweet event - just gotta get a few friends together, we don't have to be in the same clan do we?

Not apus. PPus are the ones who res, buff, etc.....
An apu without a ppu is nothing special.
Because the defense would be too easy with them shadow. 2 apus in the hackterm shooting people at the front door? Would make it boring.

we simply want a OP fight without Monks, because if u use Monks properly(nuking with distance of 200 m + etc) they are still uber.. and monks do not have to aim .... we want some skilled fights ;)
We dont accept Monks at our event exept the PPU ...

fair play xantor and dj but if u rule out monks u wont see any of the synchronizers fighting im sure. DISTINCT LACK OF SKILL with other classes forces this. but still it will be funny.

This event is supposed to be fun, to make people have a good
time.

event, it's not there to discuss whether or not -uTs- is lame and

Please, everyone, the ONLY posts I want to see contain questions
about the event or contain subscribing information.
And no, you don't have to be in a clan. Just get a few mates and
take part, I'm looking forward to those challenges.

Just make a team of random peeps, or you'll be allocated a team, depends on the turnout/opposing side :p
I was thinking of going and seeing if I could get some other Rangers to go until you said no stealth. Stealth is a spies armor, we ain't got any other!

I'm not happy about PEs being able to use Shelter. Our Tank resists just don't make up for it I'm afraid :/

I have no problems with Spies using Shelter, It just gives PEs too much of an edge imo. They are already incredibly fast, or the best ones are at least :)

For a future event why don't u have team combat per class with no OP fight.
Like 5 APU vs 5 APU, 5 Tanks vs 5 Tanks and so on.
Might make for more interesting bouts.
BTW is healing allowed? Cos it shouldn't be :P

apologies to em. their event turned to shit cos of the pr that exists between that clan and all the others. Instead they go gr camping crp with anohter tg clan killing all and sundry ( and got abused on trade about it so we all know its true. ) and u wonder why no one turned up. nice thought on the event guys and credit to you djingo for posting it but fuck me u got a lot of work to do to get an event going considering how much everyone loves ( to hate ) your clan so darn much. Its like xan said. break up the alliance. U got twg runners killing other tg runners today. i wont name names but its the same couple clans always at it. gr camping or raping lower levels 3 to 1 as usual.
