Apt transfer Q

Okay, rerolling my tank (check trading forum/saturn for stuff) and am wondering if i can put all me rares n'shit into a bought apy, then give that key to an alt to activate, then give that key again to me new char to activaite. My Q is, would all the stuff in the cabs be retained?

i bourght a key of Pape and all his shit was still in it when i got into the appt so my guess is yeah....he had a shitload of dog tags lol+ some nice imps n shit.
