Here is a thread I have created for you Forum readers to make public everything you hate about Neocron no matter how trivial or big the moan is, Speak up, let us hear ya!
these are mine:
1) The Monk Class
2) ParaShock (Need I say anything for one and two?)
3) Fatal's - I get the impression KK have an inability to know there own code, clearly they would have fixed it by now if they knew how to.
4) The Tank class - Completely under used, lacks anything definative which makes them desirable and required.
5) Soulight - Serves zero purpose except to penalize those who Roleplay as Pkers.
6) Drugs - It has been mentioned in the most recent Neocronicle that they are too be worked at..Sadly KK, you have caused me too many deaths in my time for me to get excited about this.
7) The way that KK is forcing gamers to avoid PVP and PKers due to reasons 4), 1), 2) and 6)
8) No Pkers any more - Small moan, when I first started Neocron HATE were huge, Tackling even the biggest of clans, causing pain to n00bs and high lvlers alike. Where has the rush gone knowing a Hate member is somewhere in MB?
There just afew of mine, please post yours. It might jog KK's memory on things which needs fixing or addressing!

I miss the PKers.
It seems that back in the day, there were more people on their own as there is now - might just be my memory playing tricks on me.
Sure there were some rather large clans, but none so domineering as there are now.

Another moan of mine is 90% of saturn players believing because they have a rare weapon they are the l337est thing since sliced bread, as if they can take down the server with an earp. But of course, the moment you challenge them they call you a wanker and refuse to take part.

I think I have only one really major complaint;
The community....
(edit; If anyone gives a shit, my shift of attitude from earlier when I was debating nicely with dJingo etc to now, is that some assholes on Uranus reminded me exactly how obnoxious and idiotic they are, playing their little Neo-Strike, "Yeay, Green Team Wins" Games, all I can really say is it might be a first that I was not put off Neocron by the game, nor KK, nor any of the typical content problems, but simply....by the raving idiots that play it).

That some pistols are so much crappier than others.
That the locate target on citycom has been removed, a hacking
requirement was all it needed.
That hacking is a useless subskill, and instead of making new
uses for hacking they add fake content like having a OP takeover
require 3 hackers, which doesnt make the skill better, just forcing
more people to dump points in it for no real use.

(yes im still in denial about the pvp viability of using the earp)

lmao, I thought I was the only one who felt that way.
My biggest complaint is scene/attention whores
heres an idea to solve the op hax problem:
the 3 man hax was made to prevent simple 1 man ninja hax... well what if we keep the 1 man hax, but make it so if the occupying clan has less than, say, 5 people online, your not allowed to hax the op... then we all get our fights and ninja's are effectively removed...

Who doesnt? Its become to the point where I talk to only about 3 people on saturn and trust even less, Why? the sheer arrogance and stupidity of 99% of them.

The lack of communication. It's not KK's fault, the devs did get flamed practically every time they posted on the forum. Look at the treatment Callash gets about PE/Spy PA, or the response to every event about the bad lag, GMs can't organise anything, blah blah. Thanks to all of that flaming, we now have no idea what KK wants to do with the game. It's like we're all on a bus but nobody knows who's driving it, or if there is a driver at all.

What's wrong with mc5 chips>?
They have allowed classes to merge IE take my PE who now uses a slasher with 160% dmg.
They are only really accesible to huge clans
MC5 is a joke
Because the big clans control them, the price of them has risen to such proportions its almost impossible for smaller clans to even get them
MC5 chips remove the 'faith' that people had in old setups (OMG WITHOUT A SA I AM NOTHING) as one example

Totally agree. MC5 was made for larger clans. Really MC5 was made for TG. IMHO TG has become a devs. pet. And before anyone starts that LE shit. Tell me, when was the last time you found an LE ppu that could stay alive at MC5 that was pro-city and had time to go with a total stranger. This game is all about TG. They have the best story line.

Hmm nothing wrong with mc5 chips. And you dont have to be a huge clan to get parts either. Offcourse it helps alot that TG is controling the op that is nearby to mc5 but I dont think it's a tg only place. I tend not to bother ppl at mc5 cause the place it self sucks ass big huge fucking time, and to start killing ppl regardless of faction at that shitty place is kinda lame. My clan is about 8 ppl, we took turns with others who was there and we got the parts we needed.
What I hate :) I hate whiners about nerfs regardless of what is going to be nerfed. But I guess that comes in under the community thingy I guess.
You could say I hate the mc5 place but not the award.
I hate ppu spell fuckups, buffs wont work and the likes and the sync problems, I hate when ppl die cause of "bugs"
I also hate ppl at big lvling spots in big teams that screams for whatever combat buff when Im the only ppu there and im a little bit occupied atm, and to be able to give the buffs I need to move things from inv to qb and back and forth still with the same person spamming can I get *insert combat buff here*!!.

Some of the bugs are annoying, but i can cope with them.
But it becomes more and more difficult to cope with.. as QD said.. this community.
Whenever i open the forum 75% of the threads are nerf this, nerf that, overpowered blabla, monkocron blabla, onoz i just got killed nerf nerf, ppu omg kos kos and the like..
That's the first game i play since 15 years (and thus the first MMO as well), so i don't know if the communities are always like this. But i hope not.. this crap here already made me to look out for other games.. hopefully with a "better" community.
Can anyone recommend me such a game?
Perfect would be a game where you first have to succeed an IQ test to play the game AND to post on the according forums (the quote in my sig says alot what i mean). :D

Horizons, but it's not open PvP like Neocron.
It's not ".....hardcore...."
Which is probably why.
All in all, neocron's community is not actually the worst I've seen, however the people I had hope for in terms of trying to;
A) Keep the Neo-Strikers at bay.
B) Bring a little content.
C) Help to create a little atmosphere.
Have almost all quit because of said Neo-Strikers...

There is no game like that. I've played multiple mmorpgs and each community was moreorless the same. Their was ALWAYS tons of complaining, balance screamers, etc.......
That's like saying "is there any neighborhood in the world where no crime occurs?" Or it's like someoen saying "I want a customer service job where I don't deal with rude people". What you are asking for is unrealistic. Anything that has to do with ALOT of people and what they think/feel/act/etc........ will have it's share of complainers, flamers, etc................................
Anyways, the worst community i've ever been a part of was the UO community. My god in heaven. But then again UO had like 50x the population of neocron, so of course their community would be uhhh more vocal? :p
If the community of a game will make you leave, i doubt you would stay in any mmorpg long. O_o
I think the best thing you can do is take a break from the forums. The UO forums literally filled me with hate and made me not want to play the game. But everytime that happened I would just take a break from the forums and just stay in-game. Alot less stress DAT way.
