Any ideas whats causing this?

I just moved recently....

I installed neocron on a different machine(not mine where it ran fine)....it meets all requirements, but after i installed and patched i tried to log on, and it said "failed to connect to server"(it just keeps doing this repeatedly)....now on my last machine i was using a cable modem connection....now im on a 56k...Im running windows XP home edition.....could it be firewall issues of some sort?

yea you got any firewalls up ? If your on XP it has a built in firewall thats thick as shit aswell. might wanna check for that...

might sound silly, but are you connected to the internet when you start neocron... some people forget to...


then I'd dissable firewall's or put NC on the allow list... could be a few thing's..
