Heres a poll so I have a rough idea of have many ppl are coming for the Saturn Drone competition DOKEMON. I espeicially need to know how many droners will be taking part.
Why is it called DOKEMON? Cause juz like Pokemon, Drones are small, cute and fit in your pocket. The only thing is they ain't furry,
and they're gonna shoot each other till they explode into a fiery ball of fire (Insert R2D2 scream).

~Basic Info~
Time: 8th November. 12am my time, which is GMT+8.
(12 am Singapore time, should be 6pm & 12 pm for Europe and America respectively)
Venue: Saturn Server. Assemble at TH sec2 HEW Shop/Bar area.
Any comments / opinions are appreciated.
Try to keep this thread up so other ppl will get a chance to see.

Well I believe my time is the same as GMT so 12am my time is 24.00GMT? I'm juz following the neocron forum board clock, which is GMT +8. I notice the forum board time is the same as mine.
What i'm pretty sure is that Europe is about 6 hrs behind me and America is about 12 hours behind me. I'm in Singapore, which is right beside Malaysia.

GMT=UK time
Europe is one hour ahead of that.
Singapore is GMT+8
So, if it's noon on Saturday your time it will be :
4AM Saturday - UK time
5AM Saturday - EU time
8PM Friday - PST
11PM Friday - EST

Confirmed-> Yes my time is GMT + 8
Contest is 12 AM Singapore time 8th Nov Saturday tru Sunday. (So its actually just hitting Sunday for me)

This is done so it will be Saturday evening UK
and Saturday Morning for America.
If my maths is right that translates to:
Sunday 12AM - Singapore
Saturday 4PM - UK
Saturday 5PM - Europe
Saturday 8AM - PST (US & Canada)
Saturday 11AM - EST (US & Canada)
So thats basically 16.00 GMT Saturday 8th Nov.

I always juz relied on the "Risk board Game" map before heh.
OK so just roll my post forward 12 hours (noon=midnight, PM/AM swapped, etc.) and it's all good?
4PM GMT is ideal for me so I'm a happy droner now.

Pls note there are only 30 tickets up for grabs (10k each) and are on a first come first serve basis.

KK - get your thumbs out your asses, dump that ridiculous "we don't support player events" bullcrap and get a sticky up for this NOW.
This is the most unique and interesting event I've seen or heard of and it's dying despite Giz's massive efforts.
Get a sticky up, get some GMs involved, help your damned game to flourish.

Ditto here. I will be getting online and trying to recruit some ppl to play as well. Maybe start some fights with droners and tell them they can try and get me back at DOKEMON. hehe. Or maybe I will just be nice.

Ticket sales are slightly better after a change in marketing strategy. Public msgs dun seem to work, I've been talking 1 on 1 with every single spy i meet.

sounds like a cool event and hopfully you get the numbers up etc.
id like to come but as blackdragon i just wouldnt feel comfortable around all those enemies even if they did manage to hold the guns down, so anyway have fun:)

But seriously, If a pokemon spawned in the dokemon pit it would be dead in like 2 secs. (1 sec for drones to stop shooting each other & 1 sec for all of them to shoot the pokemon)

I know quite a few FA PPUs, they'll prob rez u if u die. Worse come to worse i'll log on my ppu to rez u heh.

That's great, fuck-o. Metagross, my primary character, is 100% resistant against all thunder (energy) based attacks, meaning all the GOOD drones will do absolutely zero damage. All the other drones do plain old vanilla normal (force/pierce) damage, which Metagross has an extreme resistance to (Type1: Steel).
So, in effect, drones won't do a single point of damage to Metagross.
However, he's Type2: Psychic, and has an array (read: 4) Psychic attacks, the most powerful ones possible. And how much do drones like Psi attacks? Not much at all.
So we have about 50 dead drones, and an untouched Metagross.
