To my knowledge, these are the MOBs that drop rares:

Cayons:
DoomReaper 76/76
Terror Raptor 85/85
Terror Leaper 90/90
Grim Persecutor 110/110
Grim Chaser 120/120

Grasslands: (at least around g8-h9)
Decayed Brute 95/95
Decayed Horror 100/100

Desert:
Big Sandcrawler 70/70
Sandworm 86/86
Big Sandworm 90/90
Hazard Worm 80/80
DoY Bots

Wastlands/Steepe (also around the racetrack G11?)
Warbot 80/80
Warbot Titan 85/85

Mountains/Grasslands:

Something that came up online last night that got me to thinking:

The number of MoBs that you can hunt solo, without hack ability is limited.

Fire mobs are by far the best, if you can't hack, as their spawn rate tends to be higher than the others. But, they are in the TG controled region of the map.

There are the worms, but then you have to contend with the DoY bots, and worms spawn rate is few and far between. It's really not possible to hunt worms like in the old days.

So that leaves Decays, but the spawn rate there is even more limited.

If you aren't the right faction and you can't hack, your choices are very limited.

Seems a little unfair and unbalanced.

There should be more mobs that don't need hacking destributed across the wastes or the fire mobs should be more destributed.

No, fire mobs shouldn't be redistrubuted, no!

But... considering the sandCRAWLERS (its crawlers ffs, and there's no BIG sandcrawlers, only small, normal, and hazard), I would have thought that they had relations or ancestry from the swamplands, considering how many mobs in the swamplands spit poison (hint, hint KK!).

I also would have thought that DoYbots, considering their level and connection to the Warbots, would have AT LEAST a chance of dropping tech parts. Make it so that Doybots drop EITHER doybot scraps OR a techpart or two... say, in like a 5 to 1 ratio, meaning that you have a good chance of getting techs from doybots.

SO thats two solutions I have given, progenitor.

Yeah, what's up with the spawn rate on Worms?
I hardly ever run across them any more, especially Hazards...
But, I wasn't aware of Small Sandcrawlers and SandCrawlers dropping Tech Parts...do they?

And the TP drop rate on Decayeds' aint that great, at least they drop alot of Level 3 imps and EXP bones and VHC 9 and 10's...

It can be a real bitch to find a place to hunt if your in the wrong faction and can't hack......:(

oh, yes, tahts another thing - I've NEVER gotten techs off small or normal sandcrawlers, but I HAVE gotten level 2 chips and techparts off hazard worms.

Dude, the DoY bots are fine, they give sexy XP and you can make mucho money off 'em.
