Someone help, my comps got all fucked up and stuff. Like when i try to start up IE it says it cant find the file etc. I try to start up system restore but get the same thing, it says -

"Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."

the file it is looking for is a system restore file, try turning it off

right click my computer
properties
system restore
remove tick box from "turn off/on system restore"
click apply

then try it

Didnt try what you said but doubt it was that. Just started up safe mode and like this box poped up said click no if i wanted to do a system restore. And it worked like that.

Thats the last time i try and install anti virus sortware...
