Droning for Monk Dex - Viable?

Just thought id ask before lomming around a bit :-)

currently only have 5 dex, so can only use the lowest drones available

im ppu so can cast drone 2

does it actually give decent enough xp to level dex up?

as a monk its damn hard unless i want to spend days making poor spells or imps and wasting a shed load of cash at a factory :P

Just goto a factory, and make drones, the TL 50 ones, abour 90 of those and your DEX/STR is capped ;)

cost wise it isnt too bad
TL50's need 1 x wp1 and 2 x wp3

so thats 90 x 106 and 180 x 426 = 86,220cr
even cheaper with a barterer

thats not incl grease though :-)

just depends who's mad enough to res you 90 tl 50 drones
suppose you could do them youself @ a lab but youd be there all year without a high resser

You get 900 exp a build from drones and dex caps at around 350k so plan on building about 350 drones :P enjoy

Anyway my monks getting 800 DEX per psi booster 3 hes building... the TL 50 drones i imagine give a hell of alot more than that, plus the XP's based on your apss rate chance etc, so at a factory where you had 50 cst thats gonna get you the most XP from em :)

i dont want to have 270 wep parts sat in my gogo and 100k light with nothing to do with them =x

I made 40 wep 8's at a factory with 0 cst skill - just plugged in my CSTers cst chips. Then moved to a mine which topped up my RCL enough to convert the wep 8's to psi booster 3's.

It took hours - cost about 80k in chems (that was using my TL 115 barterer) although I had no res costs (I have a TL 148 resser as well - call me alt man!)

In the end my dex went from level 13 to 19 - whoopie do. Enough to get my run speed up to a reasonable level (still not good enough for neofrag against pe's), enough VHC to drive my 4x4 and enough RCL to make PSI boosters and Medipacks (I'm apu).

I really would have to suggest poking - the old moveon in out rep is my next try.

I tried both droning and rifle combat but the dex xp sucked.

Aggie missions are good at level 5 - 250xp per 5 aggies killed but that still makes 350000/250 or 1400 missions or 7000 aggies which sucks. Last option is chester and the nearby launcher pit - more xp but that's more running/driving.

Forget droning unless you willing to lom a lot of INT into WPW. My drones could only get 10m from me and was killed by a small sewer rat a LOT.

Basically monks and dexs is just a nightmare!
